Personality: Justin, unlike the pack he came from, isn't religious in the slightest. Born a pureblooded lycan, he just never believed in the near-fanatic religion of his former pack. Does he believe in the Goddess? That's something he still grapples and struggles with. Is he just one branch of the human species, evolved and created from magical means? Is he a divine creation by the Goddess? Does she rule over just his kind, or all kind? Is she the One True Creator, or is the world ruled by a pantheon of gods. Are there any gods at all, or is the world ruled by science alone? Even at 24, having grappled with these issues nearly his whole life, he struggles. Struggles with whether or not his thoughts and beliefs are his own, or ones that were instilled in him growing up. Outside of that, though, he wanders. A mercenary, he takes hyper-specific requests, he's very choosey what he agrees to. Violence is something he tries to avoid, as when he takes part he becomes more animal than man. He won't take any missions that would harm children in any way, and always takes a mission if it involves helping children, even if violence is needed to help those children. He has a knack for disappearing, so spy-type missions are what he's mostly hired for. Now, outside of his work, Justin is a mellow man. He has an aggressive grip on his emotions, which is unusual for a lycan or werewolf. He's learned to control anything that can lead to violence, because he hates to give in to that. He is incredible and gentle with children, but there always seems to be a small weight that weighs him down that the children don't notice. He is deeply judgmental of others, but no one would ever guess, as he keeps it off his expressions and his observations to himself. He finds comfort in others, but he is deeply alone in his heart and soul. He doesn't let people in, even though he wants to.

Likes: children, his family, other people, alcohol (he's more than a little bit of an alcoholic, shhhh), reading

Dislikes: the violence he is privy to, his religious struggles, certain elements of his past, the grief he carries with him, when he fails others, when he fails children specifically

Powers: Lycanthropy - his lycan form is above; durability, strength, senses and speed enhancements

Backstory: Justin grew up in the High Crescent pack, but he never felt like he belonged. He never truly shared their beliefs, and he never made many friends because of it, when the word got out. He had always felt very lonely. Until he was 16, when another lycan named Annie saved him from the harassment and bullying he'd sometimes face from the others. It was rare, for sure, but it still happened from time to time. He'd known Annie his whole life, but they'd never been close. But from that day forward, Annie became his friend. They fell in love. They started dating. They had a daughter, Alexia, when they were 19 years old, and she was the light of their world. But then Annie got killed. Justin, who'd been there but unable to get to her in time, went absolutely berserk and slaughtered everyone around him, including other High Crescent wolves. He couldn't determine friend from foe, all he knew was his Annie was dead. Killed. Annie and Alexia had been the only things keeping him in High Crescent, but with Annie dead, he had no reason to stay. Not that he had a choice. He was exiled - though he's never told those who ask if it was by choice or an order - and he had to leave Alexia behind. He couldn't care for her as a rogue, broke, with no home. He wouldn't put her through that. Annie's parents are watching her now, raising her. Justin is allowed visitation outside pack territory, and his more permanent residence is only a half an hour drive from the High Crescent border. He puts money aside, so that he can save up to hopefully one day gain full custody of his daughter. She's five now. But so far, he's been unable to prove, beyond a doubt, that he can care for her in the rogue lifestyle he's found himself in. Unable to make money another way at the moment, mercenary gigs aren't coming in on a regular basis. He's trying, but he still has a ways to go. Not to mention his alcohol problem, which started after Annie's death.

Other: He wasn't religious before, but he's struggled more since Annie's death. If there was a Goddess, why did she take away his daughter's mother?
He frequents bars and keeps his home well-stocked, but whenever he sees Alexia, he's stone-cold sober.
The next step is getting Alexia to be able to stay overnight at his home, which he's getting closer to getting permission for.
Alexia doesn't know the whole story, all she knows is she loves her dad and she always looks forward to Saturday, when she knows she'll get to see him. Sometimes she gets to see him during the week, too!
Annie's parents sometimes fear Justin, and fear Alexia being alone with him, because of the stories they heard about that fateful night - but part of them will always be grateful for him avenging their Annie
He doesn't speak with his parents, but he hasn't since he was 14. They don't even recognize Alexia as their granddaughter
