Personality: Paisley is the definition of a hippie. She is so deeply relaxed, so deeply chill, and high most of the time. She is a strong pacifist - words over action, for sure. She is very much so go-with-the-flow, but has a strong sense of justice. The mistreatment of others makes her deeply upset, and she always tries to step in, unless someone holds her back. She always tries to care for people, even if they don't deserve it, because life is precious. No one deserves to be in pain or to suffer. A life is a life, and is meant to be respected and nourished. Otherwise, she just goes through life in joy and love. She practically always has a smile on her face, or is quick to one. Laughter, too, can often be heard. Light and tinkling, it's infectious. It can at least bring a smile to someone's face. She always has a kind word for someone, and she always seems to be at peace. She embraces the joys in life - large and small - and finds delight in the simplest of things. Like the rain, or in the smile of another person, the chirping of the birds, or in the smell of baked goods made with care. Speaking of, she has a wild sweet tooth, and she herself is a big baker. If you go to her place, it will smell like something - usually cookies - and it gives off a cozy feeling. Paisley is that. Cozy personified. Joy personified. Love personified. She can find something positive about almost everyone, even the ones who are mean or cruel. She has faith and hope that people can change, and she believes that happens through kind words and actions and treatment and not violence and negativity. This is something she hopes others will agree with. At the very least, she doesn't want to be teased and bullied for her optimistic pacifism.

Backstory: Paisley is the elder twin to Michaela Gia Carter. Growing up, Paisley has always been considered gentle and meek. Soft. Emotional. Sensitive. Deeply moved by the world around her, she has been quick to tears - joyful ones, sorrowful ones, you name it. She's always been considered odd, but many around her, though sweet. She was likable. There is just something infectious and charming about her that let people look past her 'weird.' Of course, a few here and there have caused issues, but she's otherwise fine. She'd led protests within her pack, spreading out to other packs, over wars or clashes that have been fought, or alliances with a violent packs who would drag them down. When she does things like that, people tend to roll their eyes. "That hippie," they'll say, "and her idealism. She'll come around eventually." So far, she hasn't. She does have a group of friends, some similar to her, some not. She does live alone, in a small cottage along the edge of her pack's residential district, that was recently built just for her after she got permission. She hosts people at her cottage a lot - big enough for spiritual excursions, as they call it, when a group of them sit under the stars and get high out of their minds on various substances. Having a tendency to wander, lost in her own thoughts and world, she can sometimes be hard to nail down. But she isn't deeply hated, she is odd, and most find her at least amusing. But she doesn't care how the world perceives her. She loves herself, and hopes that her mate will, too, and won't have any grand notions of changing her. However, a year ago, there was an incident in which Paisely ended up quite hurt. She'd said the wrong thing - what she'd said was she didn't think they should be celebrating the loss of life, even if the wolf was bad - and ended up gutted by the very angry, very violent, very drunk wolf she'd spoken to. She nearly didn't make it.
