Personality: Gwyn is a she-wolf who is a bit abrasive at first, but simply because she isn't the best at social interaction. She's actually really sweet and kind, but she really has no filter. The thing is, she doesn't often realize when she is coming off as rude, or how her words might come off as rude or pushy or too much. She doesn't get flustered easily, but she does get embarrassed when she realizes something obvious flew over her head. Super cuddly and deeply compassionate, most people don't often realize this. You have to get passed her awkward shell or socially blunt words to realize. You also have to just get close to her. She doesn't make friends super easily because people see her as weird. Shy and socially awkward, she isn't people's first choice. She does get very anxious in new environments, but once she is comfortable, she lets herself flow free. Incredibly intelligent - likely the most intelligent member of the Redwood Pack - Gwyn has many different interests and knowledge bases, which span from 'useless' bits of knowledge, to incredibly helpful. She has a wickedly strategic mind, and isn't afraid to offer strategies that can be seen as brutal or gruesome - she simply offers what she sees as the most efficient strategy. Because if this fact, some others also choose to stay back. Ruled by logic and analysis, it's easier to listen to her brain that her heart - but her emotions overwhelm her more often than not, though only those close to her can tell. For her friends, she is loyal beyond belief. Being around Gwyn sometimes requires patience and a lot of explanation.

Backstory: Gwyn is not initially from the Redwood Territory. In fact, she's not even from the United States. Neither are her parents. They are from Wales, and moved to the states when Gwyn was 15. Her accent can be incredibly thick, especially when she's excited or talking fast, but has mellowed out slightly these past 8 years. Her family moved when her mother got a new job - because yes, her mother works among humans. Rare for a werewolf, but not unheard of. Her mother is a renowned psychiatrist who has published many papers in her field, and offered many lectures. She was offered a job in California and took it - though the drive to work each day is about an hour and half or longer - but they needed a pack to stay with. Gwyn's adjustment was very difficult. She didn't fit in with anyone - nor did anyone want her too. She isn't the greatest at first impressions. Not a fighter like the Elites, nor someone who goes on border patrol or guard duty, Gwyn does have fight training - everyone in her old pack was required to go through it. She spent most of her time in the pack library, the librarian the only one who really accepted Gwyn for who she is. The Librarian got Gwyn her current job - Junior Strategist for the Alpha. She works closely with her mentor - a man named Raymond, who is a gruff, grumpy man who has a soft spot for her - and Jillian Musso.

Gwyn is the Junior Strategist and will likely take over when the current Strategist steps down or passes away.

Gwyn has recently become fascinated with and deeply enthralled with a werewolf by the name of Millicent (created by Saytrn03), and though she doesn't fully realize what her feelings for Millicent truly are, she knows she likes them a lot.
