Personality: Desiree is an outgoing werewolf, full of life and full of energy. She is kind to those she believes deserves it, and rude to those she believes deserves it. In order to be a friend, and not simply an acquaintance, one must earn it. Friendships are built through talking, communication, and trust. This is something Desiree truly believes. Because of this, she is always open and honest, and she does her best to comminicate, rather than bottling things up. She is kind to children, but even she gets fed up with them from time to time. Once those bonds and friendships are forged, they are hard to sever. Desiree will give someone chance after chance after chance, even if they don't deserve it or have proven to be untrustworthy. That is her flaw. But if that bond is ever broken, Desiree grows heartbroken and reserved, despite her normally social and approachable demeanor. Desiree can be witty, but just as easily miss the joke. Quick to laughter, quick to smile, Desiree is a relatively happy individual. She finds joy in the simple, small things in life, such as the beauty of nature, or a particularly good quesadilla. Food is the way to her heart - cooking together or for each other, baking, going out to eat. Food is her love language, as is quality time. Those she loves in her life, she loves deeply, and she stands by them and supports them to the best of her ability, which has sometimes been taken advantage of. Always trying to be on the right side of things, the good side, she does't always hit the mark. When she realizes this, she grows deeply remorseful and heartbroken.

Backstory: Desiree is one of eight children, the third oldest overall. Growing up in such a large family, she has always been deeply connected to the ideas of love and support. She loves everyone - when she reaches that stage - as if they are part of her family. Close with her siblings, even the younger ones, she still goes home for family dinner every Sunday nigh, even though she officially lives in the main pack house. She doubts she will ever move away to a new pack, she couldn't possibly leave her family behind. When she was a teenager, she'd been friends with this other she-wolf, one that was a year younger than she, named Rachel. Rachel and Desiree became incredibly close, incredibly fast, and they were best friends, inseparable. Only poor Desiree didn't realize she was being manipulated, didn't realize she was hurting people she'd once considered friends. It wasn't until she was 17, 5 years after meeting Rachel, that she realized just who Rachel was. Catching her at a party, making out with the guy Desiree had had a crush on for _years_, and then not being remorseful over it, was her final straw - though little things had been building for a long time. Breaking things off, Desiree became a shell of herself for quite a long time, and slowly started making amends with those she'd hurt in the past five years. Now, about a decade later, she's a far more mature Desiree, though still her younger spirit shines through in her playful demeanor, and in the absolute trust she holds for her friends and family. Having learned from her mistakes, it does't mean she is immune to making them, not at all. Desiree messes up often, actually, but she always does her best to make up for it, and she never does it on purpose.
