~ Buildings ~
There are many buildings spread throughout the very large Redwood Pack, and a list of the main ones and their functions are below.
Living Quarters
The Alpha House
is exactly what it sounds like, it is the house that Alpha Jonah Miller lives in, and also holds his personal office, and rooms for his family (Priscilla and Ebony), and another personal offices for his Beta, Tyler Musso. Here is where Jonah hosts most people, even though he has a separate office for public appearances.
The Elite House
is where the Elite Unit live. Commander Jillian Musso is in charge of this large house, which holds her and her twenty Elites - plus some. With three floors, not every room is taken. The third floor is occupied by Jillian and her mate, Seki Basho, as well as Huxley Sage Lowe. Other Elites also have their mates living with them - hence the 'plus some.' Most pack gatherings are held near the Elite House, which is also right near the Training Center.
Pack Houses
there are multiple pack houses within the territory. Redwood tries to keep people grouped together by demographic. There are two pack houses for single werewolves, all mostly in their twenties and early thirties. There are two pack houses for families and mated pairs, intermingled together. This is so there is less of a lifestyle clash between wolves. The pack houses are spread far apart from one another, unfortunately to some, and cars or buggies or running in wolf form are needed to reach other parts of the territory.
Houses and Apartments
pack houses aren't the only living options for Redwood wolves. There are quite a few apartment buildings spaced out. Similar to pack houses, the only difference is the communal kitchens, living rooms - there are none in the apartments, which are individual family units. Or actual houses, which are also spread out. Now, these can be built with a petition to Jonah, who will then give the go ahead. Houses are also passed down from generation to generation.
Administration and Services
The Offices
the offices are the public locations of the offices of any wolf that holds rank - Alpha, Beta, Strategist, Commander being the four main ones of Redwood. The Offices are also where meetings with those outside the pack are often held, so that strangers and non-Redwood wolves aren't invading Jonah's home and living quarters. There are open offices which can be 'rented' out, and Dr. Raija (Gwyn's mother) is one of these wolves. A therapist for humans in the human world, she also has werewolf clients within the pack.
Conference Hall
not dissimilar to the offices, the Conference Hall is mainly a large, open space where huge meetings can be held - like when the important packs of the nation get together for meetings, or if multiple packs are being hosted. The bottom floor is this massive open space, with a large circular set up for everyone to sit around, able to see one another. Tables can be moved - added and taken away - and the space can also be converted into an area for parties - pack holiday parties for example - or to eat. There are kitchens in the Conference Hall, on the same floor as the big room, just through a door. The second floor has smaller offices, for wolves to break away for independent meetings during huge multiple-pack gatherings. Picnic tables are out back behind this building.
Training Center
is for, really, the Elite Unit to train. A proper gym inside, with weights and cardio and everything imaginable, there are also obstacles courses, rock walls, and other stations meant for more specific training. Mats are brought out for sparring, and there are areas for weapon training as well. The Training Center is a three mile run from the Elite House, and the run has to be made each morning before training. The Training Center is open to the 'public' of the pack at certain times on certain days, but the Elites can co-opt it whenever they need it.
Infirmary
the infirmary is where all the injured and sick wolves go when they need treatment. Located in the absolute center of the pack, near the Alpha and Elite House and Main Square, it's a decently large structure due to the large population of the Redwood Pack. Run by doctors - both with PhD's from human schools and those trained in medicine by werewolves who specialize in it, derived from Med Wolves - any ailment can be treated here. A proper hospital, just like a human one, it can handle anything. It is one of the best Medical Centers and Infirmaries in the country, and Redwood doctors have been known to go train doctors of other packs.
The Bar
is an old thing that has become new again. Yes, there was a bar in the territory, just for the Redwood wolves. It had been burned down about twenty years ago, and has recently been reconstructed. Still not fully complete, the young population has promised Jonah that the bar will be a good thing - Beta Tyler Musso endorsed it, saying it might keep their wolves from sneaking out to the human town. That's ultimately what got Jonah to agree to the rebuilding. More on the edges of the territory, away from the family residential areas, it is between the two pack houses for the single werewolves.
The Library
is exactly what it sounds like. It is a Library, filled with books like any other library. Filled with a large concentration of Redwood history books, it truly has anything you can imagine. And like other libraries, there is a system of ordering books that is set up. You can request books from other pack libraries, anywhere in the country, and have it sent to the Library to read, before it is sent back. Not as frequently used anymore, it is run by a kindly Librarian in her late fifties, and is visited by frequently by Gwyn Elwyn Raija.
