Rain Jewel is a pack that emigrated from England during the reign of Queen Victoria, in the year 1885, when prosecution of homosexual males became drastically worse. The pack leader at the time - going by the title of King and not Alpha, as had been the custom for centuries - had a male mate. Concubine, as he was technically called, but the King, a man by the name of Sebastian, refused to stay in the country when people like him were openly and publicly illegal. He'd hoped the United States would be better. For a spell, it was.

His younger brother took over as King in the England pack territory, and to this day the two packs - both called Rain Jewel - are deeply entwined. Wolves have been known to travel between the two packs semi-regularly. Not since the Argyle Massacre (more information on that can be found in Bastion Keith Argyle's form). 

When the United States Rain Jewel faction became an officially recognized pack in the States, they made the switch from King to Alpha, in terms of title. Though, even still, the common title among pack members is King, though to outsiders it is Alpha.

Rain Jewel is a very, very wealthy pack, having come over with many riches to begin with. But they've always been very smart with their money, even having a titled Treasurer in their pack, who holds power just under the Beta/Prime Minister, above that of even Strategist. They live in a gated community, which is different to most packs. Living on the very outskirts of human society in Connecticut, their houses form a barrier to the rest of the world. Wolf activities are strictly done in the 'backyard' of the pack, in the many, many, many acres of wood and land the pack owns. The town houses, pack houses, and administrative buildings form that barrier. The deeper into the territory you go, the more their werewolf sides comes out.

Layout

Enter the massive, golden gilded gates - watched over by security guards, they are always closed.

Then comes the rows of Administrative Buildings - Offices, Infirmary, and Treasury.

Then the row of Guest Housing.

Then the row of Pack Houses.

Then the row of actual houses that families live in, each house getting a yard.

Then the row of Noble Housing - Alpha, Beta, Treasurer, and Strategist housing, as well as extra homes that family of these positions get to have. The Alpha House Extensions, as they are officially called, sit empty and vacant. Abandoned.

Then comes all the land and communal spaces in which the wolves can truly wolf out when desired. The training facilities are also kept deeper into the territory, more as a precaution so the fighters don't have to restrict themselves in training.

The pack itself is a very organized, efficient pack, both in layout and political atmosphere. Though the current Alpha, Bastion, is terrible at his job, his terribleness doesn't really affect the pack that much overall. He seems like he might cause more damage than he actually does, because of the illusion of power he holds. An illusion to himself and outsiders, but even his own pack members to an extent.
