Personality: Nani is sort of hard to pin down. Arrogant yet sweet, prissy yet caring, bitchy yet compassionate. She's charismatic and she's confident, but around a woman she finds incredibly attractive she loses all ability to form proper sentences. She is also flirtatious and a little bit of a seductress when it comes to men. She knows what she likes and she goes after it. Though with shy women she easily fills the confidence roll, she loses all her wits with a confident woman. In addition to how she is around people she finds attractive, Nani is fairly unpredictable. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to who she is nice to and who is more bitchy to, and it can change day to day, though it doesn't always. There is a certain force to Nani that is hard to ignore; a Queen Bee in many regards, she knows how to get people's attention in good and bad ways. She isn't above spreading rumors, but she isn't cruel. She somehow has managed to never go too far against others. She stays just inside the line of what is considered 'okay mean' in her mind, which is the level of mean she can be without people turning on her and thinking she is genuinely mean. She is constantly performing - in many regards. A great singer, talented musician, and lover of theater, she is performing in that regard. But she is also constantly acting how she thinks others expect her to. At one point in time, she was the mean girl in school, but when she was a teenager, she made the shift away from that - internally more than externally. She struggles deeply with the way others perceive her and if keeps going down the path that she is, she is going to drive herself into the ground. A young woman who is drowing, she is waiting for someone to answer her silent pleas of help.

Likes: being distracted from her own thoughts and worries in any shape that distraction takes (booze, sex, blasting music, anything), dreaming about someone who will see her for her and love her all the same, sappy romance movies, her pajamas, her bed, appreciation and praise from others, validation

Dislikes: her mind and thoughts, her loneliness and sadness, being alone with her mind, being alone, the future terrifies her, judgment and hatred of others, when her perfect facade cracks and people can see she's losing it

Backstory: Nani was a shy girl when she was young, until about 8 years old where she finally snapped back at this girl and put her in her place hard. She liked the rush of power, even at that age, and liked how others flocked to her because of it. This remained how it was for a while, up until she was 14. By that time, her reputation had been solidified, but she went through something really hard in her personal life, unknown to almost everyone save her family, some doctors, and her therapist, and went through a really big metamorphosis in terms of life, how she viewed it, and her own personality. Only she felt trapped by the reputation she'd cultivated. Everytime she tried to step free of the Queen Bee/Mean Girl persona, her 'friends' would turn on her in cruels jabs and jests, and Nani would laugh it off as her just messing around. It got to the point that she stopped trying. She has been struggling immensely ever since. Her parents are worried for her, but once she turned 18 and became an 'adult,' she shut them out even more, until she was 21, in which she crawled back to them begging for help. Four years later, she is sort of getting better, but still backsliding. She is very self-destructive and she tries not to be, it's just hard. She is thinking of moving packs to start fresh.

Other: Nani does struggle a lot, but she is always there for those who need it, which sometimes makes her worse
