Gáta tou Lýkos is Greek for 'Cat of Wolf.'

Located in Tarpon Springs, Florida in their own gated community with a private beach, they are a very small and relaxed pack overall, but powerful in their own right. Politically savvy, but content to live on the borders, they are fighters. Literally - they are warriors, well trained and disciplined, even if others overlook that upon meeting them.

A werewolf pack led by a werecat, it makes them wholly unique. Though some werecats exist within the pack, they are dominated by their wolf counterparts. About 100 pack members strong - and gradually growing in size - the pack runs in a monarch system. Ruled by a King or Queen, the pack is fully devoted to their leader. Their leaders are chosen from different royal families - Aetos, Diamandis, Pappas, and Milaras - and an heir must be 18 before they can be named, and they cannot be related to the one naming them heir. The royal families are located worldwide, and not all members of the same family are in one location, though the pack originates from Greece, where they had to flee to America to escape prejudice for their 'traitorous' ways. Wolves should not answer to anyone but themselves, was the thinking that drove them away. However, this pack - often just called GL or Gáta - hold werecats up as religious figures, as divine beings. That is why werecats rule them. Never a werewolf, lycan, hybrid - no one but a pureblood werecat. For that, they are also quite a secretive pack, and for a long time they'd present a werewolf as their ruler during political meetings, though are less secretive now, though they don't openly acknowledge or address it. As a result, many think the leader to be a wolf, based purely on assumption.

The pack itself is in a beautiful, gated community that overlooks their own private beach. Living in houses, condos, and suite-style apartments, the members of this pack are not on top of one another in living arrangements. Located in the center of the pack is a gorgeous, massive water fountain. Located under the water fountain - underground - is a training facility and bunker that spans nearly the size of the whole territory. Taking decades to build and maintain, the facility has only been in use for the past 15 years or so. That is where the wolves are trained and they are deadly. Lethal and coordinated, the pack is able to defend their home the way they weren't back in Greece. Having been in the states for the past century, moving here kickstarted their training regiment. All members of the pack are required to take part in basic training so that no one is left undefended, and training starts at 13 and goes until they are 16. From there, they can decide to continue unto more rigorous training to be deemed a true fighter. Many fall somewhere in between. True Fighters, as they are called, get a tattoo on the back of their neck to identify them - claw slashes inside a circle. Also in the training bunker is a casual gym for non-fighters, and a bunker to keep the monarch safe. The training bunker has varying points of entry, including Monarch's House, two of the apartment buildings, and the Medical Center. The fountain, as well, can split open but that is only done in the case of an emergency.

The ratio of werecats to werewolves is 1:15, meaning there are only about six or so within the pack at any given time. However, with the newest ruler, the pack - or pride, as she calls it - and more werecats arrive as word gets out. The pack is being brought into a new era, with the new Queen, and they are slowly integrating back into the supernatural community of the United States.
