Personality: Akna is a fairly quiet individual. She is not shy, per say, she just keeps to herself, or stays quiet within a louder and more outgoing friend-group. She has lots of thoughts, but hardly shares them, but she is a comforting presence. Her quietness isn't uncomfortable, but rather a warming presence. One knows if they need someone to listen, Akna is their girl. She will think things over, then offer the most sound and sage advice one could imagine, should they wish to hear it. She is ferocious, though. One of the lead fighters of the pack - despite the fact that not many fights ensue, so she fills the role of hunter - if they were to ever get into a skirmish for whatever reason, Akna would be one of the only ones not to hesitate. Small but mighty, she has the natural (ridiculously fast) speed of her pack, coupled with her training? She would be a force to reckon with, even against opponents twice her size or larger. Predominanly self-taught, she does come from the line of fighters in the pack, from the time where fighting was more common-palce. She has a few trade-secrets in her brain, passed down from generation to generation. Beyond that, she does not like to leave her pack for long times, except to hunt. Sharing the belief that they need no one else but themselves, and that outsiders are dangerous and risky, she can be standoffish to the idea of newcomers. Suspicious of the world outside Malamute, that will always come across, and she won't bother to hide it. Quiet, mighty, ferocious, and suspicious, but also compassionate and loyal, Akna is someone you want on your side, not against you.

Backstory: Akna comes from the line of fighters within the Malamute pack, traced back to when more packs were in Alaskan territory, and when the wolves were being hunted down in extinction. Though the true art of fighting has been lost to Malamute, her family keeps as much as they can alive, passing down what they can from generation to generation. Akna is a beast as a fighter, and though she is mostly self-taught, she is truly a force to be reckoned with. She's come up against werebears and actual bears one-on-one and won. She'd taken down caribou by herself. She's a one-team show, able to do things no one else in her pack can, though she tries to teach those interested. Larger than most of the other wolves in the pack, she's one of the few wolves that would be hard to make an argument as a 'slightly larger real wolf.' She's a little too big to make that argument plausible. It makes the pack, and herself, nervous, but so far all has worked out. A hunter, she leads her own team when they are sent out. The hunt leader of one of the 'younger' teams, made up of teens and young adults - including Miki when Miki hunts, with Yuka as her scout - even her team is quite formiddable among the pack. Akna, some believe, may take over as the leader of the pack after the current leader, Gravish. Respected by her pack, able to take care of them, she is wise beyond her years, her quietness giving her an air of someone who knows much. She is able to convene with the ancestors, thoughs she is no storyteller. If she is chosen, she hopes to do a good job. If she is not, she will be fiercely loyal to whoever is chosen. Sometimes intimidating to her own pack members due to her skill and quietness, Akna only has a small group of wolves she would truly consider her close and real friends. She has a deep love for every single one of her pack members, but her friends and family hold and even more precious, fierce place in her heart and soul. She strives to make people proud, but also strives to protect and care for everyone she possibly can. She has no skill in healing, but she helps out with the healers when she can - mostly foraging for them, or bringing them food and drink during long days - and she does little things for everyone/every sect of the pack. She carries the world on her shoulders, but she does so without complaint and little show of how exhausting and consuming it can be. She does it with seeming ease.
