Alasdair is someone who, firstly, is a caretaker. He adores his children and actual children in general and will always defend a child when needed. In the world of Haven with consistent orphans he is a genuinely nice person to them. But just because he is kind doesn't mean he's kind to everyone. Alasdair is someone who would make a genuinely ruthless Alpha with beliefs of public punishment and discipline. Disrespecting him with mean acts of violence. He is a leader, not a follower by any means, and will actively use this power to enforce fear and respect.
Alasdair can be extremely terrifying especially when people doubt him because of his age. With partners he is sweet and he gives them individual attention and falls to their desires. He loves to spoil partners.
Alasdair can be a bit odd when it comes to his partners. He likes a variety of people - bratty, chatty, shy, demanding, whatever. Alasdair was originally from Scotland, his name being a dead giveaway as origin. Scotland was his home and he was raised by his father due to his mother's passing when he was a baby. Alasdair was raised to be a gentleman, raised to be refined and respectable. When he was fourteen he and his father moved to the United States and he was originally brought into Sanctum as someone not of the Americans.
Alasdair was swooped up by Haven and further raised by the entirety of that group while his father became addicted to drugs. When Alasdair was sixteen he too became horribly horribly addicted to the hedonistic lifestyle that wrapped around parts of Sanctum. He loved to fuck, loved to do drugs, and he became more popular around the pack.
Alasdair did these things for the next four years but it came to a massive halt at the announcement of his first child, a boy. Alasdair, in the next nine months, became sober to love and cherish his first born son instead of it all being fuzzed over by a high.
Alasdair was twenty when his first son came around and he adored his baby while the mother of his child fucked off to do more drugs.
In the following years Alasdair became a prominent father figure even as child after child after child seemed to be given to him by different women. All his babies, all seven that he knows of, were all taken care of by him. In these years Alasdair rose up in the ranks of Haven and soon took the responsibility of leading the group. He'd also become good friends with Dante Bonetti and began dealing Venom for extra money. While Sanctum rose in wealth, thanks to Alasdair's ability to find the right dealers, the Haven leader was also given a percentage of money for his hard work. From ages 32 to 56(his current age) Alasdair has become a multi millionaire but tends to keep that under the table.
In his years he continued to take care of his children, even now that they are adults, and actively funds their more positive hobbies. Though in these years he has had a variety of partners and made sure to get a vasectomy to keep from unwanted pregnancies.

Alasdair actually lives in the massive underground part of Sanctum. He lives in his own extended home that is 9 times out of 10 open for the rest of Sanctum.
