Personality: Harlow is a very patient young woman. She is knowledgeable, with an amazing memory. She is also quite warm and open and giddy. Happy to offer her assistance, she sprouts off knowledge, advice, and kind words with an ease that some are envious of. Harlow is just a good person. So good, pure in a way. She pursues knowledge beyond most anything else and she wishes to share that knowledge with those who are willing to listen to her. She finds different people to be fascinating and is deeply interested in the very nature of humanity, and everyone's individual nature. She likes to study the personality and cultural differences between humans and werewolves, werewolves and lycans, werewolves and vampires, etc., but she also loves to study the differences and similarities in culture from pack to pack to pack. She does ask questions, but not so many. She tends to observe and come to her own conclusions. From a historical standpoint, she likes to study the evolution of various packs, especially the ones that have made their mark on werewolf history. Outside her interests, though, she truly cares about others. She is quick to offer a smile, quick to offer any kind of comfort someone may need. She is a genuinely happy person with a good soul. She always seems to know just what people need. She says the right things, does the right things. She understands people of all backgrounds, good or bad, corrupt or not. She may not agree with the actions and beliefs of others, but she prides herself on being able to understand the motivations and thought processes of others. She is very patient, willing to do whatever is needed at any given time. She can listen for hours, she can deal with rude and terrible people, she can do so much. Her patience can get irritating to some because she never seems to snap. A bit eclectic, she has a big and kind heart.

Backstory: Harlow was adopted as a baby, less than a year old. A visiting wolf, among a group from the Black Moon pack, left Harlow on the doorstep of the Grand Tower - the main and biggest library in the Wise Oak pack. The Head Keeper, a woman by the name of Constance Bray, found her and took her in. The only thing left with Harlow was a blanket with her name stitched into it 'Harlow Darma' and a note from her mother basically saying that Harlow would have a better life elsewhere, that she couldn't provide for her daughter. The Head Keeper tried to find records of Harlow's birth parents, but no one in Black Moon ever had the last name Darma, nor did anyone in any neighboring packs. Was Darma her last name or a middle name? It was unclear. So her name was kept as is - Harlow Darma - though sometimes 'Bray' is tacked on at the end. But Harlow grew up with an excellent life. She loves her mother, who had only just taken on the Head Keeper title when she took Harlow in. Harlow grew up in the libraries, making friends with the other kids her age. One in particular, her best friend, is Porter Trenton Base. She knows about him, even if he's never said anything. She figured out his diagnosis on her own. She knows he is aware of it, but he seems like he wishes to keep the information to himself, so Harlow keeps that information, too. Some believe she might be the Head Keeper after her mother passes, but Harlow knows she won't be. Her mother will pass that title to her apprentice, who is about twenty years older than Harlow. Besides, Harlow isn't sure if she wants to be the Head Keeper. The Head Keeper doesn't leave pack territory once their position is granted, lest there is an emergency. Harlow wants the freedom to go to and study other packs. Her goal is to form an anthology of sorts on her observations of the packs she stays with. She's an anthropologist, really. Though she has done some research thus far, not many packs have been open to letting her stay with them for at least a year to intricately and intimately study their culture and customs. She's working on it, though. She hasn't given up on that goal.

Other: she knows Porter is more than he seems, beyond the DID, regarding his proclivity for killing and violence. She covers for him when he needs it, or at least when she feels he needs it
