2-3

Unknown time has passed.

It was a play of catch - The girl in black being chased by the shards she avoided. She could tell, every single piece of them only gives her more reason to find a way to end herself.

Every time she sees any of them, she steps on them forcefully, until it was crushed into dust.

From all of those, she only sees negative memories: Being abused, verbally insulted, betrayed, and bullied to an extreme.

How large is this forest? She didn't think of it. all she did was run in only one direction, motiveless, thinking how long she could do this for.

God didn't disappoint her. A shard which was shining came to her sight.

That moment before she decides to break it, she stopped.

A Shining shard? She had never seen a shining object other than that orb.

She carefully picks it up and finally stared at this one shard.

In a single blink, her world was changed. There is no longer a foggy sky. A galaxy awaits her.

"This is beautiful," she said to herself, without remembering this is only a scene from the shard.

"Come! We will find the best star tonight!"

A man with a familiar voice caught her attention. It was that man in brown hair, but she seemed not to see his face anymore. Perhaps it was too dark? Without taking a second thought, she ran towards him.

And there, she ran through the forest and chased that man for some time.

He only ran faster. She couldn't catch him.

"No! Wait for me..." She yelled. she prayed in desperation that she wanted something else than those terrifying memories bulking her mind.

Running out of energy didn't stop her. She just kept running. But everything came in the end: She couldn't find that man again.

Did he do it on purpose? Despite being left behind, she scampered long enough to realise he was gone.

She halted and looked around. She no longer found the surroundings familiar. It is not like the forest she stayed in.

She blinked. The galaxy faded.

When she looked down, there was something that stabs her mindset like a dagger.

A grave.

How did she end up here? She was shocked, not being able to spit a word.

Whose grave is this?

The words on that gravestone were blurred. She could barely read it.

Something tells her something is wrong. For some reason, she links that name with that man she trusted and believed until now.

He is dead.

She remained silent and kneeled down.

Was there anything she could do?

She put all faith into this anonymous person. What could she see again?

A cold stone board filled with despair.
