Just like the sand slips away from our hands,

Time also passes by with the changing trends.

Even before we realize

It was time for us to leave the school,

Which if you ask me - was totally not so cool!

Sharing snacks and playing games were trademark of the picnics,

Painting faces of sleeping classmates was a common trick.

Irritating the teachers was a favorite past time,

Breaking the rules was the most thrilling crime.

From crayons to make up we grew up together,

Teasing our friends was just a fact of the matter!

On the day of farewell we meet to depart,

We leave the premises with a very heavy heart.

No doubt the college is a fun filled place,

But I am really gonna miss my school life days.
