Etna was working on stories and battles as well as ways to expand her city. She looked outside to see a food truck.

Etna: Eh? It's lunch time already?!

She panicked a bit and quickly teleported outside. She saw Sonic the Human in the truck.

Sonic: Hey boss. Ready for a free Chili Dog?

Etna: Sonic, I told you not to hand them out for free just because I'm your boss.

Sonic: I'll consider listening once you've finished my story.

Etna: ... ... ... Just take my money...

Etna paid for a Chili Dog and looked around.

Etna: Hm? You're looking low on customers. Actually... where is everyone?

Mary: They're not here yet.

Etna turned around to see Mary Sue.

Etna: Oh, Mary! Um, is that the form you're taking today?

Mary: Today is special. I thought an appearance similar to yours was appropriate. I am your very first and most powerful OC after all.

Etna: R-Right...

Mary turned to the Sonic.

Mary: Twenty cookies please.

Sonic: Can't you just imagine cookies into your hand?

Mary imagined five thousand dollars into her hands and they appeared.

Mary: Make that 3,225. And quickly before I get bored.

Sonic: Coming right up!

Etna: Anyway, I should get back to work.

Mary: Actually, Junko and Cutie Pie accidentally destroyed another building. You may want to check on it.

Etna: What building?

A nearby building suddenly crumbled.

Mary: That building.

Etna: Ugh... I'll be back...

Etna went to fix the building that was destroyed. After that, she was suddenly asked to be on a photo shoot with Ann, help Kokonoe work on some inventions, race Ruby Rose, and even take Medaka on in a random fight. By the time she came back, Sonic and Mary were already gone and Etna was completely exhausted.

Etna: And now... I'm pooped...

Etna sat down exhausted when she suddenly heard a familiar voice.

Aqua: Boss?

Etna looked up to see Aqua Mizu.

She seemed to be walking with Shiro and they both headed towards her.

Shiro: Are you okay?

Etna: Aqua? Shiro? What are you doing here?

Aqua: The Storyboard Studio and Death Battle Company aren't that far apart. Plus we're neighbors so we sometimes walk together. What about you? You look a bit depressed.

Etna: Do I really?

Shiro: You're kinda sitting on the floor...

Etna let out a sigh and stood up, brushing herself off.

Etna: I guess I am. I dunno, lately I've been wondering if I'm really cut out to lead you guys. Not that I don't want to... but I do sometimes wonder if you think little of me...

Aqua: Huh? Why would you think that?

Etna: I can barely finish Heroes and Villains without rewriting it. And Shiro, your story just got forgotten about. I sometimes use my battles to restore my confidence but... sometimes I feel like I'm failing as a writer and a Goddess...

Aqua suddenly put her hands on her shoulders.

Aqua: Etna... you've rewritten my story several times trying to get attention to both it and myself.

Shiro: And even though you forgot about my story, you still allowed me to work here and help with your research. You even made an entire city just so everyone could interact with one another.

Aqua: You may be a bit of a slacker and you may come up with too many ideas to keep up with... but that's not because you suck. It just means you're a Goddess with a big imagination.

Etna: ... Yeah... Yeah, you're right!

Aqua: Now let's head inside. It's starting to get cold out here.

Etna: Right.

Etna followed Aqua and Shiro into the Death Battle building. The lights turned on and Etna was suddenly greeted by everyone in Goddess City.

Everyone: SUPRISE!!!

Etna: H-Huh?! Everyone...?

Ruby: We knew your birthday was coming up, so we thought we'd throw a party.

Dizzy: The idea was up in the air for a long time. But now that Goddess City is complete, we can make it happen!

Aka Robotnik suddenly took her hands.

Aka: We all know how you watch over everyone here. You even try to give spotlight to OC's not made by you. Even Aka thinks you deserve at least this much.

Everyone: Happy Birthday!

A small tear came out of Etna's eyes and she wiped it away.

Etna: You guys...

Aqua put her hand on Etna's shoulder.

Aqua: Well, what are we waiting for? Let's party!

Etna nodded and joined everyone for her Birthday Party.

10 minutes later

Ann/ Kokonoe/ Junko: "... No more..."

Shiro/ Aqua/ Ruby: "... No more..."

Etna(drunk): Hey hey hey! What... what's everyone standing around for?! This is a party isn't it?! WHOOO!!!

Everyone was on their knees trying to tame a drunk Etna-chan who put them all in ridiculous outfits.

Etna(drunk): I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!

Aqua: Um... Shiro...

Shiro: ... Yeah...?

Aqua: Let's... not let Etna-chan drink anymore booze...

Shiro: Agreed...

Just then, Lisa F. Neko helped Etna up.

Lisa: Alright Boss, time to call it a day... you're drunk...

Etna: I... I am NOT!

Lisa brought her to her room and let her rest for the rest of the day.
