so time to listen to not your usual choice,

why not try some country and western,

or for a change a beautiful operatic voice.

Perhaps you could enjoy some jazz,

or disco, folk, funk or blues,

house, rock 'n' roll, soul or heavy metal

goth or gospel, so many from which to choose.

This day was created by Patrick Grant, a New York musician, the idea of this day is to get people to listen to music they don't usually do. The word strange can mean bizarre or unfamiliar, Patrick believes that expanding people's experience of different music can also transfer to the way we view life, listening without prejudice.
