Kara pulled me behind the sacs and put her finger over her mouth. I nodded, shaking. Somebody switched the lights on.

"Where are you?", they said in a rather happy voice. Kara went pale. Oh no... Her lips formed those words, an expression of shock on her face.

"You can't hide from me, you know?" The voice I now identified as male laughed. "I will..." Step "...find you..." Step "...anyway!"
The face of a young man with long, red hair appeared right in front of us. He grinned widely as he saw us.
"Ah, there you are!"
Several things happened at once.
Kara kicked the man's face.

He stumbled backwards which gave us a second to esc-
No.
He stumbled backwards and grabbed an iron rod.
Swung it over his head.
Tried to hit Kara with it.
But she ducked down and the rod missed her by about an inch.
"RUN!"
Her voice woke me out of my trance. I got onto my feet and started running towards the window, trying to reach it.

Something hit the back of my head and everything went black.
