Everyone was here now and I knew it was almost time to make my speech, Nikki gave me a nod and I walked towards the little stage thingy.

"So thank you all for coming today! It does mean the world to me, but this isn't just a birthday party."

I took a deep breath and saw Luke reassuringly nod at me.

"So I've been hiding this for a while because I was scared but some amazing people helped convince me to throw this party to tell you all."

I took another deep breath and gripped the mike to try and steady my nerves.

"I am...expecting a baby."

I heard gasps and saw smiles from everyone except Colby, I made my way off stage and was smothered in hugs from practically everyone that is here. I could see how anxious Nikki looked so I made my way over to her after I finished hugging everyone.

"Hey you'll be fine, I'm sure she'll say yes. Now go up there before I propose to her!"

She beamed at me before running up to the stage, everyone fell quiet once more.

"So over the last year I've been dating this incredible woman, all of you know her and know how strong and incredibly beautiful she is. I am nervous but I need to get this done, I love her too much. So Alexis Kaufman will you marry me?"

The spotlight fell onto Lexi and she burst out in tears as she ran towards the stage.

"Yes! Yes I will marry you!"

The kissed and the club erupted into cheers, I made my way back onto the stage and spoke into the mike once more.

"Does anyone else have any announcements?"

They all shook there head.

"So let's partyyyyyyyyy!"

The DJ started playing his tracks and everyone just started to dance, I was dancing near the bar when I felt someone grab my arm and pull me outside.

"Colby?"

"Is it mine?"

Without hesitation I shook my head, even though it is his.

"So you cheated on me while we were still together and now your pregnant?"

I shook my head once more.

"So what your the new Virgin Mary now!"

He was shouting in my face and I wanted him to stop. I watched Luke grab him by the collar and punch him right across the jaw.

"Luke stop!"

He continued to punch him even after he was bleeding. I put my hands on his shoulders trying my hardest to pull him off.

"Luke please!"

I was crying but he still wouldn't listen, I did the only thing that I thought would make him stop, I kicked him. Instead of making him stop he turned all his anger to me, he pinned my hands against the wall and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. He's always been so kind to me and now he's like this.

"Get off me Luke!"

I could feel my wrists bruising under the pressure, he let go of my wrist and slapped me. I cried out in pain and tried to move away from him.

"Get off her you bastard!"

I saw Colby standing once more, he took Luke out with a solid punch. Colby knocked him out cold, I was still standing against the wall with fear in my eyes when he pulled me into a hug.

"I'm sorry Rebecca, I didn't hit back because I could see how much it was hurting you to see us fight."

I pulled away from the hug and grabbed a tissue from my bag to stop Colby's nose from bleeding everywhere.

"I didn't mean to shout at you earlier, I was just scared and confused."

"You and me both."

I held the tissue to his nose and stared into his eyes, I don't know what it was but I felt like a spark like electricity. I looked away and took my hand off the tissue.

"I should get back inside, you should probably go home and sort that out."

"Yeah...thanks Rebecca."

"Bye Lopez ..."

I made my way back inside and went straight to the bathroom, I splashed cold water on my face to get rid of the running massacre. I applied a new coat of it and lipstick and was good to go. I walked back into the party and the stench of alcohol was so strong it even made me feel a bit woozy. I pulled Alexa aside and could see she was a little drunk, I shouted because the music was so loud.

"LEXI I'M GOING HOME!"

"SO SOON?"

"YEAH I DON'T FEEL TOO GOOD."

"BE SAFE, I'LL SEE YOU TOMORROW?"

"YEAH AND CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN."

She gave me a hug and I walked out, I stepped over Luke and into the car park. I don't know how I'm going to get home, maybe I'll just walk. It's really not that far from here, maybe it'll take me an hour or so. I was not far from the club when a car pulled up alongside me.

"Get in!"

"Excuse me?"

I turned and saw Colby with is window down.

"I'm not gonna let you walk home, it's freezing and it's meant to rain soon."

"I'm fine with walking."

I lied through my teeth, I am freezing but I can't get myself involved with Colby again.

"Don't be so stubborn Rebecca, just get in the car."

I let out a sigh and opened the car door, It was a lot warmer in there. I didn't say a word the entire drive back to mine, I got out of the car and mumbled a thanks before walking to my front door. I'm not staying here right now, I'm technically living with Nikki and Alexa for child support while I'm pregnant and for a little while once it's born. I stopped at my front door and turned back to Colby, his gaze shifted to meet mine and I felt it again. The electricity, the sparks. Oh no, the sparks are back. I made my way back up the path and past Colby's car, I know Alexa doesn't live far from here so I can walk it. I don't care how cold it is. I saw him give me a strange look but I ignored it.

"Where you off to now?"

"Home!"

I continued walking even after I heard his engine start, I took a left down a sketchy looking alleyway. I saw some of the boys who live down the street from me so I just gave them a nod, once I was out of the alley I made a run back to Lexi's house. Once I was inside I ran up to my room and put on some Merlin, I feel horrible. I've got a headache and I feel sick, I curl under the covers and after a while fall asleep.

"Becks...Becks wake up!"

I saw Lexi sitting on my bed, she had a look of concern on her face.

"Whats happened?"

"I know you may not care but Colby was attacked last night."

"What?"

"In that sketchy alleyway near here, he's in hospital but he's stable."

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, the boys must of thought I was in trouble or something, I never go down that alley otherwise.

"This is my fault..."

"How can it be your fault? You've been here sleeping all night!"

"I was trying to avoid Colby, he dropped me home because it was cold and then I started to walk to your house. I went down the alley and saw the boys, I did look scared. Perhaps they thought I was in trouble and that they were doing me a favour, Lexi this is my fault."

"How were you supposed to know what they were going to do!"

"I don't know..."

"It's not your fault, these things just happen sometimes. I'm sure he'll be fine."

"Yeah, I'm sure he will..."
