Chapter 17

"Hey! You guys tried to mug me!" Izuku exclaimed when he saw the familiar red head and blond. That was also when he realized that the blond was the one who had been all over Hitoshi earlier. Suddenly mugging wasn't the worst thing he had done to him.

The red head sheepishly scratched his neck. "Heh, sorry about that." He said.

Bakugou glared at Kirishima and Kaminari. "You two fucking did what?" He asked, pissed that they tried to mug his child hood friend.

"Calm down dude, we didn't even actually mug him. Shinso stopped us." Kaminari said, wiping some of the flour off his face and getting to work cleaning the kitchen. He suddenly wasn't in a good mood.

"You guys still ruined my homework." Izuku pointed out a bit sourly. The bite in his tone surprised Bakugou for a second, before he also remembered what had happened earlier with Kaminari. He didn't peg Izuku as the jealous type.

"Boo who, cry me a river kid." Kaminari said back, not taking his eyes off the counter he was trying to clean. Key word, trying.

"Are you seriously trying to clean up flour with a wet rag?" Izuku asked, slightly appalled at the stupidity of the action. Or he was just really jealous and looking for anything to poke fun at.

Everyone in the room just stopped and stared at the two. Bakugou had never seen either of the boys act like this. Sero, Kirishima, and Mina had never seen Kaminari like this. Bakugou at least knew why they were acting up.

Kaminari slapped the rag down on the counter and turned his glare to the green haired boy. Izuku was a little scared, seeing as this guy was in the mafia, but then he remembered that Bakugou was definitely on his side and definitely scarier than Kaminari. "Got a fucking problem with it?"

"Yeah, you're trying to clean it the worst way possible." Izuku stated simply, eyeing some paper towels. He grabbed some and started to wipe the counter down, succeeding in actually making progress. "You're just gonna make some really terrible dough with that." He said, pointing at the wet washrag that was gooey and just making a worse mess.

Kaminari threw the rag into the sink and stormed out of the kitchen. He was clearly pissed off with Izuku.

"What happened between you two? Is it the mugging thing?" Mina asked.

"It wasn't right? I don't need anyone mad at me again." Kirishima said, worried that the green haired boy was in fact mad about the mugging.

"Forget it raccoon eyes, dunce face is throwing a hissy fit because Shinso prefers Deku. Deku's throwing a hissy fit because dunce face got to close to Shinso today. They're both just jealous idiots that don't realize that if they should be pissed at anyone, it should be the purple haired insomniac." Bakugou explained, pushing himself up onto the counter where Izuku had successfully cleaned it.

"Kacchan!" Izuku yelled in embarrassment.

"Kacchan?" All three asked in a murmur.

"What? Am I wrong?" He asked, eyeing the smaller boy.

Izuku just grumbled in response. "You're worse than in high school."

"High school?" All three asked louder this time, but still being ignored.

"Oh I'm sorry, I can go back to being dead if you'd prefer." Bakugou snapped back.

"Dead?" They asked again, all of them completely lost.

Izuku crossed his arms childishly. "I should have stayed with Hitoshi and Todoroki."

"Okay, holding the mother fucking phone please. Hitoshi? You call him by his first name? And you're not dead?" Mina spoke up.

Izuku spared her a look. "Well yeah, it's only fair seeing as he calls me puppy all the time." He said in annoyance at the nickname.

"Maybe you should have stayed, then you could go with your fucking mom." Bakugou said, but immediately wanted to take it back.

Izuku just stared at him with wide eyes, not know where he should go from there. He wanted to run, but he didn't exactly have anywhere to go.

"Deku, wait- Izuku!" Bakugou said as Izuku took off at a run through the house, leaving the three remaining idiots standing in the kitchen, still confused as hell.

Izuku just kept running, Bakugou on his heels, not knowing where he was going. Eventually he found himself in a familiar hallway and knew where he'd go.

When he got to Hitoshi's office, he shut the door behind him and leaned against it, flicking the lock just before Bakugou reached it.

"Izuku, c'mon let me in. You know I didn't mean it." He said, resting his head on the door and he knocked, hoping to be let in.

"Go away Kacchan." Izuku said, his voice wavering as he spoke. He knew how Bakugou was and how he didn't think before he spoke most of the time, but when he was angry it was even worse. He didn't have much of a filter anyways.

"No. Please just open the door." Bakugou said, twisting around and sitting against the thick door. He wasn't about to break it down, seeing as Hitoshi would kill him and there was a chance of injuring Izuku. He would just have to wait it out.

"No." Izuku said firmly, managing to get some of his nerve back.

"Fine, then I'll sit out here and wait you out. Damn nerd, being all stubborn and shit." Bakugou said, mumbling the last part to himself.

"I heard that you jerk." Izuku shot back, remembering why he was mad in the first place.

Bakugou just grunted and didn't say anything else. They stayed like that for another hour. Neither of them knew exactly what Todoroki and Hitoshi were up to, but they weren't surprised by how long it took them both to get back to the office.

"What're you doing? Where's Midoriya?" Todoroki asked skeptically as he saw Bakugou leaning against Hitoshi's office door, the green haired boy no where in sight.

"I pissed him off and he locked himself in there. I've been waiting for him to either leave or you two to unlock the door." Bakugou explained simply, but he was still grumpy about the whole situation as he crossed his arms.

"Move over you dumbass." Hitoshi said with an eye roll as he grabbed out his keys and moved to open the door. Bakugou was quick to stand and wait behind him.

Hitoshi pulled the door open and was grabbing Izuku the next second. He had fallen asleep with his back against the door, so when the door was opened, he started to fall backwards. Hitoshi managed to catch him before he hit the floor.

He grabbed the smaller boy up in his arms, bringing him over to the couch and laying him down. Then he turned his attention to the blond who had taken a seat in one of the chairs he had in front of his desk, Todoroki in the one next to him.

"What'd you do?" Hitoshi asked, knowing that Izuku didn't get mad without a reason.

Bakugou grumbled, knowing he was in the wrong. "He got into a petty argument, contest thing, whatever the hell it was, with dunce face, and when the other three asked what it was all about, I didn't lie to them. I told them it was because of you, because it was, and Deku got all mad. Then we fought a little bit and he pissed me off and I might have told him he should have just stayed with his mom. Then he ran off here and I've been trying to apologize to the god damn door for an hour." He said, his arms crossed again and pouting like a child.

"You did what?" Hitoshi hissed.

Bakugou stood up as Hitoshi walked a few feet closer to him. "Look, I know it wasn't my shining moment or anything, it just slipped out! I didn't mean it and he has to know that! He's known me since we were fucking kids, he knows when I mean something and when I'm just pissed off." He tried to defend himself.

Hitoshi sighed and ran his hands down his face in frustration. "Just leave." He said, pointing to the door.

Bakugou angrily stopped off, still throwing a tantrum. Hitoshi nodded his head at the door, signaling Todoroki to go babysit. The duel haired boy rolled his eyes in annoyance, but followed orders and left.

Hitoshi watched him close the door behind him and then went over to the couch. He lifted Izuku's upper body and sat down, letting Izuku use him as a pillow. "You've been here for a day and have already flipped the place on it's axis. What's gonna happen when you actually work here?" Hitoshi softly asked the sleeping boy.
