Chapter 13
"She's where?!" Izuku said, a bit to loudly for his head. He winced and grabbed the sides, trying to keep his head together while it felt like it was splitting at the seams.
He felt arms wrap around him and pull him into a chest. "Calm down, if Todoroki's there watching her, she'll be completely safe. Scared probably, but safe." Hitoshi said, trying to calm the boy before he did something that hurt his body even more.
"C'mon, we'll get you checked out and then we can go see her, okay?" He offered.
Izuku sighed in his arms. "I have a feeling the only way I'm gonna get to see her is if I agree to see this Tsuyu person." He said.
"You'd be correct."
He groaned, but decided to stop arguing against it. He had to see his mother and this was the only way. "Fine, but I have to get dressed first." He said, pulling away from the warm embrace.
To his surprise, he didn't even have to tell Hitoshi and Bakugou to leave, which he actually thought he would have to fight for. "Oh wait, Kacchan. Can I have your hoodie?" He asked innocently.
Bakugou was rightfully confused at the request. "Why nerd?" He asked.
"You smell like caramel." Izuku said in a 'duh' tone, like it explained everything.
Not being able to help the small smile that made it's way onto his face at the excuse, Bakugou pulled his hoodie off and threw it to Izuku. "Thank you Kacchan!" He said with a beaming smile.
Hitoshi, who wasn't exactly thrilled with the whole hoodie scenario, waited until Bakugou exited the room first. Then he pulled Izuku to him by the hips, making the smaller male gasp. "You know exactly what to do to piss me off, huh?" He whispered to him, their lips centimeters apart.
"Possessive much?" Izuku countered, but his tone was playful and held no malice. He just enjoyed teasing Hitoshi and watching his reactions. He was never exactly sure how he'd react.
Hitoshi looked away with a small smile before staring Izuku dead in the eyes and grabbing onto his chin again, like earlier that morning. "Careful puppy, or you'll find out just how possessive I am." He said before slamming their lips together.
Hitoshi did not like sharing.
Izuku made a small noise in the back of his throat in surprise of the impact, but quickly melted into the kiss. He was in a small daze when they pulled apart.
Hitoshi had his forehead against Izuku's, there lips still touched when he spoke. "Remember that next time you ask some guy for their hoodie." He said, pecking him quickly and then strolling out of the room.
"Fair enough." Izuku said with a tilt of his head while he was alone.
He quickly changed and had a mental debate with himself if he should keep the hoodie on or not. He was freezing, so he didn't really want to take it off, but Hitoshi wasn't super happy with it on his body. He elected to keep it on as a reminder to Hitoshi that he needed to wear more hoodies and this wouldn't be a problem.
He walked downstairs in black, ripped up skinny jeans and Bakugou's orange hoodie with black explosions. He looked rather emo that day, but he didn't really mind.
"Can we go now?" Izuku asked the two other boys eagerly.
"Yeah." Hitoshi said, pushing himself away from the counter he had his back against while he waited for the smaller boy.
"Where exactly do we have to go to see this Tsuyu girl?" Izuku asked while climbing into Hitoshi's car. How ironic seeing as a few days ago he refused to even think about getting into the vehicle.
"Back to my... well my house I guess. A lot of my members live there, Tsuyu included." Hitoshi explained. He wasn't sure how to describe the mansion that he owned and lived in with multiple other people.
"Kacchan and Todoroki to?" Izuku asked for confirmation. He kind of already knew, because of what Hitoshi said about security cameras, but he wanted to make sure.
"Yeah, Todoroki actually only moved in a month or two ago, not that he even stays in his own room." The purple haired male said with a eye roll, but the hint of a smile gave away that he wasn't actually annoyed.
"I'm glad he got out of his dad's house." Izuku said quietly, not really thinking about his words. His eyes became the size of saucers when he realized what he had said. He didn't know what Hitoshi knew about Todoroki.
"Tell me about it, I had been trying to get him out of there for years." Hitoshi said, letting Izuku breath out a sigh of relief, knowing that he hadn't just spilled one of his friend's secrets.
The sound of Izuku's ringtone cut through the silence that had settled in the car. Quickly pulling his phone out, he saw that Uraraka was the one calling him. He hit the answer button, knowing he was probably about to get in deep trouble with his friend.
"Izuku Midoriya! Where the hell have you been?! You suddenly quit at the café and disappear off the face of the Earth for two days, ignoring all my calls and texts! Do you have any idea how worried I've been?! What'd you have to say for yourself?" She said, not letting him even get a greeting out before she was lecturing him.
Hitoshi was just confused. It sounded like the girl was his mom, but he knew his mom and that definitely wasn't her.
"Am I allowed to speak now?" Izuku asked.
"Yes you're allowed to speak, you jerk!" She shouted.
"Okay, Ura I know you're mad at me right now, and you have every right to be, but I can't really explain?" He said, but it was more of a question as he looked over at Hitoshi, who just shook his head, meaning that Izuku couldn't explain.
"What the hell do you mean you can't explain?" She asked, completely livid. She had spent the last two days losing sleep over him. She had no clue where he was or what he was doing. She thought he died or something!
"Look, tomorrow we can meet up and I can tell you as much as I'm allowed to." Izuku proposed.
"You know I'd have to come with for that, right?" Hitoshi said, not taking his eyes off the road as he spoke.
"Who was that? Are you with a guy right now? Did you seriously go off the grid for two days for a guy?! Ugh my little gayby, that is not how we do things here, as slightly proud of you as I am, you could have shot me a text or something!" Uraraka said, some of her anger dissipating.
"Ura! That's not- well it kind of- not that- I would- I have to go, just meet me at the café tomorrow at twelve!" Izuku rushed as he hung up the phone and let out a breath.
"She seems nice." Hitoshi mused.
Izuku just dropped his head into his hands.
