The letter to Kagami stated
"A CAT SHIRT? SERIOUSLY MARINETTE?!" Adrien freaked out "I'LL LOOK LIKE A GIANT NERD!"
"LOOK I WAS TRYING TO BE MYSTERIOUS, OKAY?!" Marinette answered back, yelling of course "Besides, it's not like you don't have a shirt like that. While I was doing the laundry last week, I saw that shirt. So it popped up in my mind while writing the letter."
"Marinette! You suck!" Adrien facepalmed
"Ungrateful blonde!" Marinette scornfully crossed her arms "At least I got you a date!"
She took some ripped black jeans and a green cat shirt from Adrien's wardrobe and threw it at him "Put it on already! You'll be late!"
Adrien rolled his eyes and put the outfit on, luckily his model features made the outfit look good on him.
"I guess I don't look so bad." Adrien said to himself

—With André the Ice Cream Man—

Adrien waited anxiously for Kagami, with earphones and a mic, talking to Marinette. (Who was actually beside him)
"Marinette..this isn't gonna work out.." he hesitated
"Ugh! I've already set it up for you Agreste! You have no way of going out!" Marinette explained "Besides, why is the suave Adrien Agreste scared of a little date with a little girl?"
"Alright, alright." Adrien sighed
"Don't worry Adrien." Marinette reassured "Ill be watching from the bushes, tutoring you as you go through this, k?"

Adrien then saw Kagami, in her stunning fencing uniform. He suddenly felt his knees go weak and hid behind André.

"I can't do this." Adrien cowardly tried to escape as he was shivering behind André
"Cut your act Agreste!" Marinette demanded "I told you, you CAN'T back out anymore."
He sighed, and ran to Kagami. She spotted him and smiled

"So this is my blind date." Kagami snickered "I never knew you were a Romeo type, Agreste."
"Heh...y-yeah..." Adrien stammered
"Stop stammering!" Marinette yelled through his earphones "Be suave Agreste! Suave!"
Adrien gulped and took Kagami's hand "Want to get an ice cream?"
Kagami giggled "This is so unlike you."

Adrien pulled Kagami to André

"Ah." André smiled "2 lovebirds ready to get an ice cream. But I see a different faith for both of you."
"Ah! No, w-we're not...it's just..." Adrien stuttered
"Don't say that! " Marinette yelled through Adrien's headphones once more "You'll make her disinterested!"
"N-never mind..."
Kagami replied instead "Just because you see a different faith for us, doesn't mean we won't end up together."
André instantly didn't like Kagami when he saw her and just rolled his eyes, internally he was offended. But of course, he couldn't let that show.

André gave Kagami a Blue, Dark Blue, and Black colored-ice cream, completely different from Adrien. Adrien was given a Baby Blue, Bluebell, and Dark Blue colored-ice cream
Adrien looked at the hue of the cream
||"This kinda looks like Marinette's attire...."|| He thought to himself
"Um, excuse me, you gave us the wrong ice cream." Kagami crossed her arms
"Um, no. André is never wrong." André flicked his back-hair, referring to himself in third-person
Kagami purposely dropped her ice cream and stormed off, leaving the poor ice cream man, André, mourning.

Adrien chased after Kagami, still holding his ice cream
"Kagami!" Adrien panted "Where are you going?!"
"This 'ice cream' guy doesn't know his soulmates." Kagami rolled her eyes "And why are you still holding that ice cream?"
She slapped Adrien's hand which made the ice cream fall flat to the ground
"Kagami!" Adrien yelled on accident which made Marinette jump "Why'd you do that?"
Kagami snarled "That ice cream isn't my color, and he's supposed to make ice creams based on soulmates."
"But...I kinda liked the hue of that ice cream." Adrien mumbled
"Then we shouldn't even be on this date, Agreste." Kagami stated "I thought you were passionate for me, based on your letter that is."
"W-well yeah..." Adrien stuttered
"Apologize!" Marinette guided "She'll dump you on the spot if you don't!"
"S-sorry..." Adrien hesitatingly took Marinette's advice
"Good." Kagami smiled "now come on, I know a place where we cons spend our day together."

Kagami lead Adrien to the Deja Vu court of Paris. Marinette was sneakily following behind
"Come in Adrien. En Guarde!" Kagami prepared her fencing stance
"W-wait! I'm not so good at fencing y—" Kagami didn't let Adrien finish that sentence and simply attacked him. She defeated him, obviously. Making him fall flat onto the ground
The worried Marinette, out of her maid instincts, was supposed to rush over. She then stopped herself
"This is Adrien's date." Marinette inhaled then exhaled "Calm down."

Adrien and Kagami spent the whole day in the Deja Vu court. Kagami seemed to enjoy it there, but the feeling was not mutual to Adrien.

The time came when Kagami decided to head home
"See ya Agreste" she waved goodbye "Thanks for the 'date'."
"N-no prob." Adrien panted, he was still tired from fencing

Marinette scootched in when she saw that the coast was clear
"So how was your date?" Marinette asked delightfully while handing Adrien a towel she had in her nanny-pack
"Tiring" Adrien exclaimed, wiping his sweat
Marinette was shocked by this response "What? But didn't you want to spend time with Kagami? I thought you'd be completely refreshed after this!"

"W-well yeah...but she seems so different than I thought she'd be..." Adrien answered
"Oh. Is it a good different...or??" Marinette asked
"I-i don't know...." Adrien answered, rubbing the back of his neck
"Well, that still doesn't excuse you from helping me get a date with Luka!" Marinette reminded him
"Of course, you demanding servant." Adrien teased
They both laughed.

Suddenly, Marinette and Adrien's stomach started to grumble.
"Let's get an ice cream!" Marinette smiled. They walked back to Andre, who was still distressed over Kagami's "ice-cream abuse".
"Oh, you're back" Andre looked at who was beside Adrien and saw Marinette

"M-Marinette!?" Andre hugged her "I haven't seen you in such a long time! Why are you with Adrien Agreste?"
"Oh...i-it's a long story....mama and papa......left....I....." Marinette stuttered
"W-what? How so, dear?" He made her sit down by a bench beside them, Adrien was casually eavesdropping
"I don't know why..." Marinette's eyes started to tear up "One day, they just told me to stay at the Eiffel Tower ti'll they came back...they never did. I tried to go back home, to learn that we'd been evicted...I had lived on the streets of Paris for 2 years..."
"Oh my...is that why your working for Agreste at such a young age?" Andre asked, worried
Marinette nodded her head
"Well then, you're getting a free ice cream!" Andre sprung into action, making Marinette smile
"A free ice cream?" Adrien's eyes shaped into stars

"No, only for her rich boy." Andre rolled his eyes, making Adrien frown like a baby.
"I, Andre, make the only ice cream with the hue of your beloved." Andre chanted as he presented Marinette a yellow ice cream with gold flakes and. It was topped of with 2 emerald-coloured cherries
"Woah!" Marinette said in awe "Wait....are you sure this is my soulmate?"
"What do you mean, dear?" Andre asked, knowing where the conversation was going
"It kinda looks like...Adrien..." Marinette looked at Adrien, who was turning his back, facing the sunset "And that can't be, we hate each other."
Andre shrugged Marinette simply brushed it off and ate her ice cream

"Thanks Andre!" Marinette waved goodbye "Hope i'll see you soon!"
Andre waved goodbye, watching Marinette and Adrien take off together.
"They're made for each other." Andre muttered under his breath
