Marinette's POV:

"Jeez, why do you hate Adrien Agreste so much Alix?"

"He used to be a great guy Marinette. But ever since his mom died he's been transferring all his guilt and remorse to our class! He frames people for his mistakes, copies answers, and lies! I'm surprised girls have a crush on him." Alix scoffed

"I spend all my days with him and he doesn't seem that bad...."

"Look, he's probably only playing the 'nice guy' card. Keep your guard up. I'm sure he doesn't think of you anything more than a mere maid..." Alix warned me with fire in her eyes

I couldn't help but think about what Alix had just said to me....it might've been true. He was suddenly so nice to me....

"Hey Marinette!" My thoughts got interrupted by the voice of my so called "master"

Because of the thoughts that I was having, I jumped when I heard his voice. I I accidentally hit his chin. The ice cream flinged right over torwards my head. Adrien burst into laughter, and he started a chain. The other people in the resort started laughing, snickering, giggling, making sly remarks. I could see Lila and Chloe grinning, their eyes piercing my chest. Alix looked at me and shook her head as she walked away. I felt the anger rising up to my head because of the embarrassment I felt

"ADRIEN AGRESTE YOU SPOILED BRAT!"

Adrien's POV:

||"Did she just say what I think she said?"||

Everybody around us was just staring. I was just shut up by my own maid. I could see the fury, hate, anger, and hurt in her eyes.

Usually, her words didn't pierce through my chest. But.....now it did.....and I don't understand why.....

||"Maybe it's because I liked the ice cream??"||
||"Or I liked her hair that day?"||
||"Or I didn't like the people laughing...?"||

The thoughts kept popping up through my head. Marinette didn't talk to me for that whole day....

I didn't even do anything wrong! I couldn't help but laugh, I mean...the others couldn't help but laugh either!

Ladies will be ladies..

Narrator:

||"I knew it! Alix was right! That blonde brat hasn't changed a bit! Going with the crowd..laughing like that! Hmph!"||

Marinette's thoughts were blocking her view and "BANG!"

Marinette had bumped into a blue-jacket boy with a familiar scent

She looked up

"L-Luka...?"

Luka realized that he had bumped into Marinette

"Marinette!" Luka enthusiastically smiled

"Hey!~~" Marinette tried her best to not awkwardly mess up with her words

"Wait a minute;" Marinette stopped. "I thought you weren't available for a vacation this summer?"

"Yeah! I wasn't! Because I'm with my family here!" Luka replied, with a grin on his face that could make Marinette's heart melt

Right after Luka had said that, Juleka and his mother came running torwards Marinette

"Marinette Dupain Cheng? As in THE maid of Adrien Agreste?" Juleka questioned

Luka's mother gasped "ADRIEN AGRESTE?! WHERE?!"

"Ah, mom" Luka shook his head "Sorry Marinette, my mother has this....weird obsession with the Agrestes.."

Luka's mother proceeded to enthusiastically shake Marinette's hand

"O.M.G! Adrien Agreste must've touched this hand. It's so precious and soft! Does Adrien Agreste make you hand soft?" Luka's mom fangirled

"uhh..." Marinette stuttered

"Mom. Stop." Luka tried to calm his mother

"Oh hush now Luka! You have no idea how much I've waited for this moment!" His mother violently reacted

Coincidences happen, of course. As they were talking about Adrien Agreste, Adrien came looking for Marinette

"Marinette?!" Adrien yelled

They made eye contact

"Sorry Luka, but bad luck is coming my way and I'm not interested on making contact with it."

"Uhh.." Luka stammered

Marinette stomped away and Adrien started chasing after her once more

"Marinette please!" Adrien screamed

"No, Adrien!" Marinette replied hastily

"What did I do wrong? I really don't understand!!"

Marinette stopped for a second, then bursted "Did you have to laugh?!"

"I couldn't help it! It's natural human instinct."

"Oh yeah? Well here's natural human instinct for you; Agreste. I QUIT BEING YOUR MAID!" Marinette then stormed off

Adrien was left speechless..
And Alix was right behind him when Marinette said that
Adrien went down to his knees "ugh!"

"Hey Agreste...."
