*I once met*

I once met a river god,
As he formed a form at the ford,
And he told me of the real life fantasies,
That i once heard in a song of gypsies.
A castle of coral, a throne of pearls,
The red carpet of fine silt, flanked by people in swirls.
A body of liquid, a soul so fluid,
A banquet of mer-people, aquas and squid.
He told me to join his kingdom underwater,
But i politely declined, looking for something hotter.

I once met a god of fire,
Who tested me for a liar,
And then let me enter his realm,
That began at the earth's helm.
A fort of coal that burned blue,
And red and yellow and white in hue.
The people were like candles spreading light,
The combat you'll loose if you fight.
He asked me to be his guest for awhile,
But i knew he was cunning and was trying to beguile.

I once met the god of air,
He was the one who never played fair.
He heard my secrets and tried his charm,
But was cautioned by my state of alarm.
Showing off his solid castle of cloud,
Boasting of the view in a voice so loud.
His people were sweet, though A bit airhead,
And were chattery about the things heard and said.
The god asked me to stay for a fortnight,
But i just stayed a week to enjoy chandelier of starlight.

I once met the earth god,
Who was reclusive in his own pod.
But had the most brilliant fort of green,
Made of gems never heard or seen.
The food would directly bloom into platter,
The soldiers trained to win any batter.
The people were kind and giving in nature,
But were rightfully prideful too in stature.
I was welcomed into his humble abode,
But with a humble goodbye, on a horseback i rode.

I stood at the edge of the four domains,
In the midst of floods, fires, browns and rains.
And i decided to settle there,
Where is was everywhere and nowhere.
I could dive into deep seas,
And come up to play with butterflies and bees.
I could cleanse my body in thw white fire,
And then learn to sore higher and higher.
And so i once met my self in the mirror,
Who couldn't have interpreted dentiny any clearer.
