Misunderstanding
THIS CHAPTER.
It's been a while guys lol but I want to just publish the rest so the whole story is finished!! I hope you enjoy :)
Most of the guys woke up really hungover. Well, all of them. The girls were the first up, already in the kitchen eating breakfast and chatting.
One by one the guys came up, the girls giving them water and ibuprofen.
"What's the agenda for today?" Sadie asked, everyone on their phones.
"I thought we could go to the beach, or go downtown to the little shops." Millie suggested. Everyone seemed to agree, as they got ready for the day.
Sadie and Millie went upstairs to throw on a swimsuit under their clothes and they chatted.
"So Sadie, what's up with you and Caleb?" Millie asked, making the redhead blush.
"He's been really flirty recently. I've liked him for a while but I'm scared to make the first move. Like what if something goes wrong? I don't want to mess up our friendship." Sadie said, sighing. Millie smiled at her.
"You guys are adorable and obviously head over heels for each other. Trust me on this when I say it will go great." Millie replied, Sadie giving her a light smile.
"Well what about you and Finn?" Sadie asked, Millie turning to her.
"What about Finn?" She asked, Sadie raising her eyebrows giving her a knowing look.
"You guys are too cute. And you're obviously flirting." She said, smirking at her. Millie smiled and rolled her eyes, shaking her head.
"That's Finn for you. We've decided to be friends, and I think it's going really good." Millie stated, Sadie nodded.
"It's so obvious that Finn is head over heels for you," she said, making millie raise her eyebrows.
"No, he's just being like he is. We are over each other." Millie stated, Sadie agreeing with millie but obviously knowing the truth.
—
The group had made their way downtown and were looking at all the shops around town.
Millie groaned, sitting on a bench as some of the group went into a store next to it. It was almost 90 degrees outside, and she was hot. Finn watched as she put her hair into a low bun, exposing more of her neck. She was wearing a black cropped tank top with some colorful shorts. He offered her his water, and she gladly took it.
"When are we going to the beach?" Maddie asked, looking at the time. Everyone was sweating and wanted to swim.
"We can go after this shop." Caleb said, grabbing everyone from inside the shop.
Maddie made her way over to the bench Millie was sitting at, and sat down next to her.
"I wonder what the UV is," Maddie said, checking her phone.
"Probably like 10, I need to put sunscreen on." Millie said, as everyone made their way out of the shop.
The group then walked downtown and made it to the beach, quickly setting up and running into the water.
"Let's do chicken fights!" Noah suggested, and everyone agreed.
Maddie got on Jacks and fought Sadie who was on top of Caleb. Sadie won.
Finn and Millie fought who were on top of Gaten and Noah, and Finn won.
"You stood no chance honestly," Finn said, jokingly flexing his arms. Millie laughed, splashing him with water.
"It's also unfair you're quite taller and a man," she stated, Finn laughing.
"I am quite tall I must admit!" Finn said, mocking her English accent. He hasn't done that since they first met, so it caught Millie by surprise but nonetheless she laughed.
"Don't mock my accent! I'll just mock yours then." Millie said, Finn raising his eyebrows.
"Alright, do your best impression." He said, swimming around her.
"Hey guys, wanna get high after this shift? Millie was pissing me off." She said, a Canadian accent and a lower voice to try and match Finns. Everyone around laughed, Finn's face getting red.
"Oh my god guys, I just failed this test! Even though I got a 99 out of 100, I literally failed. I'm gonna have to ask for extra credit," Millie said in maddies voice with an American accent.
"Shut up Millie!" Maddie joked, splashing her with water.
"That's a good accent though," Finn said, Millie shrugged.
"What can I say, I'm around a bunch of Americans and Canadians." She said, giggling as Finn splashed her.
—
After a few hours, the beach got boring and the group ended up coming back to the cabin. Everyone was watching a show inside, but Millie ended up going out on the porch to call her mom.
She updated her on what she was doing, and when she'd be home.
Too soon.
The call soon ended, and she sighed, leaning her head back on the couch and closing her eyes.
The silence got interrupted after a few minutes once the door opened to Finn walking out.
"Oh hey, what's up?" He asked, Millie lightly smiling as he sat down next to her. They looked out to the backyard where there was a whole forest ahead of them. It was getting close to sunset, so it was a bit darker out.
"Nothing, just called my mom." She said, and Finn nodded. They both out their feet up on the table in front of them, staring at the view.
"I'm glad we're friends Millie." Finn said quietly, Millie looking over to him.
"I'm glad we're friends too." She said, them both slightly smiling before looking at the view.
"It's weird how things turned out." He said, and they both chuckled.
"Yeah. Like, imagine that party didn't happen. I wonder where we would be now." Millie said, Finn nodding.
"Well, it seemed like you didn't care because it wasn't official anyway. You were bound to do that, even if it wasn't at a party." Finn said, with slight hurt in his voice. Millie looked at him, furrowing her eyebrows.
"You think that's the only reason I kissed him? I really liked you Finn, and you threw it away to kiss another girl." She said, raising her voice slightly. Finn widened his eyes, furrowing his eyebrows as he turned to her.
"Are you talking about Iris?" Finn asked, Millie nodding.
"Millie I was-
"I saw you kissing her in the hallway, and it's not like I could be mad at you because we weren't together. And I said fuck it, and kissed someone else because it hurt me so bad that you did that to me that I was angry. I was angry, Finn. After all, we weren't together so you could do what you want. It hurt me and still hurts me." Millie said, tears welling in her eyes. She looked down, Finn in utter shock.
She thinks I kissed Iris? On purpose?
"Millie, she kissed me. She was trying to get me to sleep with her because I had once before. And I was telling her no. When she kissed me, I pulled away and went to go find you to tell you. But I found you with Allen." He replied, both of them looking at each other with shock in their eyes.
They had never known either side of the story. But now it's all clicking.
How Millie was upset with him. And how he was upset with Millie. It never clicked for them until now.
"So it was a misunderstanding." Millie said, her eyes locked with Finn's.
"Yeah, it was a misunderstanding." He replied, both of them looking down, and back to the view. It stayed quiet for a couple minutes, the two in deep thought.
Both of their eyes were welling with tears, threatening to spill. Millie shook her head.
I fucked up. I fucked up bad.
"Finn, I-
"I had a whole plan for the day after the party, you know. I was gonna get you up a little early and go out to breakfast with you at that place you love. We were gonna go for a drive, sing your favorite songs. I was gonna take you mini golfing because you would always brag to me about how you'd win every time you played with your family. And then I was gonna have us go watch the sunset and have a picnic. I was going to ask you to be my girlfriend." He stated, both of their hearts aching.
"You had changed me Millie. You have changed me. I've never felt...feelings like I had, and I was not using you. You made me feel different. Like, the feeling where I just wanted to spend time with you, even if we were just watching a tv show, or I was rubbing your back, or we were just on our phones showing each other pictures and videos. I enjoyed spending time with you like that. And I've never had that feeling before you. And I was really excited for that, to be with you and to start something new. And I'm sorry about what had went down that night, I wish we had known." He said, Millie taking in his words.
"I wish we had of known too." Millie stated, not getting a response from Finn. She looked over to him, as he stared out at the view ahead. A tear or two was dripping down his face.
She made the move of moving a little closer to him, gently grabbing his face and turning it towards her slowly. She immediately got locked in his eyes, the look of passion. She didn't look away when she brought her thumb up to his face, and gently wiped his tears away.
She watched as he scanned her face, his eyes full of emotion. She looked away from him and moved her head, scooting closer to him and leaning her head on his shoulder. He immediately relaxed to her touch, as they both looked out at the view.
"I'm sorry," Millie whispered, not expecting a response. She felt his hand graze hers, and they both looked down to their hands, as they grazed against each other's and slowly intertwined. His body heat was radiating off of him, and it was making her hot.
They sat there like that for probably ten minutes, no words said. They ended up moving away from each other when they heard someone opening the door.
"Hey, we're gonna watch a movie and play some games if you guys are interested." Sadie said with a smile, then walking back inside.
Finn took a deep breath, and stood up, looking to Millie.
"Coming?" He asked, eyeing her nervously. She nodded, following him inside.
—
The rest of the night was a little tense between the two. They didn't know what to do, or what to think. But they hung out with their friends and had a good time.
Now, Millie was tossing and turning in bed, Sadie laying on her phone. She couldn't sleep after the conversation she had with Finn.
He was going to ask her to be his girlfriend. He didn't actually kiss Iris. And she didn't know. And she messed it all up. It was her fault.
Finn is the only boy who's ever cared about her to this extent, and he is the only boy she has ever cared about to this extent. He doesn't force her to do things, he doesn't get mad when she's not in the mood, he doesn't control her.
He makes sure she is okay with everything. And if she doesn't want to do something, he won't force her and won't be upset with it. To Finn, Millie is like a delicate piece of glass. He doesn't want to break her, and wants to care for her in ways nobody else could. And make her feel in ways nobody else could. And she lov-
She likes him for that. She really likes him for that.
Her stomach was going crazy with a mix of butterflies and nervousness.
He's right downstairs. Go talk to him about how you feel.
Millie's thoughts wouldn't stop pestering her. It's like she needed to.
She looked over to Sadie and saw her back was faced hers, and Millie slipped out of the room before Sadie could notice. She made her way down the stairs quietly, and all the way down to the basement. She shivered, the basement being colder than her room upstairs. It wasn't helping that she was wearing shorts, that were covered by one of her big shirts.
She stood in front of Finn's door, taking a deep breath. She's never been so nervous about him, it's about to make her spiral into a panic attack.
She closed her eyes and took another deep breath.
Not now, Millie.
She got rid of it before it could even start, and looked back to his door. She reached her hand out to knock, but before she could knock the door opened.
Millie jumped, and so did Finn. They weren't expecting that.
"Hey." Finn said quietly, eyeing her outfit.
"Hey." She said back in almost a whisper, crossing her arms nervously. He noticed her nervousness, and opened the door wider for her to come in. She nodded, and he let her in, shutting the door to the outside world.
Millie saw his bedside lamp was on, illuminating a little bit of the room. He leaned against his door, and she turned back over to him.
His heart was beating out of his chest. He was actually leaving his room to go and find her himself.
But now that she's here in front of him, he can't speak.
"I just wanted to say that I am sorry." Millie said quietly, looking at him standing against the door.
"Neither of us knew, so it can't be anyones fault. Like we said, it was a misunderstanding." Finn said, Millie nodding.
"I just- I feel like I messed everything up. But now we know the truth, and something inside me is telling me that us being friends isn't good enough." Millie said, Finn's eyes widening.
"You don't want to be friends?" Finn asked, walking closer to Millie. Butterflies swarmed her stomach, as she crossed her arms.
"Friends isn't enough for me. I want to be more than just a friend to you." Millie said, Finn's stomach growing with butterflies. He looked down to her arms, and lightly grabbed one of them, uncrossing her arms from her chest.
"I like that idea." He said, Millie's eyes widening. He lightly smiled at her, and she smiled back.
"You do?" She asked, and he nodded. They stood there staring at each other for a while, until Finn brought his hand up to the side of her face. He traced his thumb across her cheek, to under her ear.
He leaned closer to her, Millie looking up to him. Their lips were now inches apart, their breathing already heavy.
"I do." He whispered, sending chills down Millie's spine, traveling to her neck to her arms.
Finn inched closer, filling the gap between their lips.
It was a soft kiss, not one they had previously had. In all of their kisses, nothing had felt like this for the two.
Finn's lips molded onto Millie's, as soft as she could imagine and warm, settling her goosebumps.
Finn kissed her as gentle and soft as he could, but with a burning passion he has yet to give to her. You could practically feel the sparks between their lips.
They parted their lips, looking into each others eyes.
"I care about you so much. And I never want to lose you again. I can't lose you again." Finn said, Millie nodding. He dropped his hand down to her waist, holding it firmly.
"You won't lose me." Millie replied, reaching her hand up to set on the side of his face. They both saw galaxies in the others eyes, making it impossible to look away.
"Promise?" Finn asked, Millie lightly smiling.
"I promise." She said, connecting their lips once again. The softness in their kiss stayed, as they started to make out.
The sound of their lips was the only sound in the room, and Millie loved it. She felt Finn's other hand move to her waist, and trace up her back and finally to the back of her head.
They stayed in their standing position for a few minutes, before Millie pulled away and took his hand, leading him to the bed. He sat down on the edge, and she stood between his legs. She connected their lips again, that same slow and passionate kiss they have been sharing. Finn slowly guided her body to sit on his, now straddling him. Finns hands were rested on her back, unmoving.
Millie was running her fingers through Finn's hair, not breaking the kiss. Finn felt like he was on fire from Millie, like she was the thing he needed right in that moment. And the thing he will always need.
She disconnected their lips, the two breathing heavily and looking at each other. Finn's hands moved from her back to her thighs, that were on both sides of his lap. She looked down to bottom of his shirt, and began to slowly pull it up and off of him.
She moved her head down to his neck, leaving light and soft pecks from the top and going lower, as low as she could go. She could feel Finn's chest rising and falling like crazy, and she could tell he was enjoying it.
Once she finished, he slowly lifted up her tshirt, with the help of Millie. She had no bra on so she was completely exposed, but it's nothing Finn hasn't seen before. But every time, he is still mesmerized by her body.
He leaned in and connected his lips with her neck, and down to her collarbone. He felt Millie's fingers playing with his hair, something he loves.
He made his way from her collarbone to her shoulder, then down to her boobs. Her skin was warm, and Finn kissing it made it even warmer.
He looked back up to her, putting both of his hands on her waist and slowly turning her over, so they are laying on the bed and Finn is on top. They didn't kiss at first; they just stared at each other, and took everything in.
Finn's hand made it from her waist to the waistband of her shorts, slightly pulling them down, and off of her thanks to the help of Millie. Finn noticed they weren't under the blankets, and opened up the comforter for her to get underneath, him following.
✴️(It's abt to get smutty hop along for the ride) (or skip idc)✴️
Millie helped him with his shorts, and once they were both in just their underwear they stopped for a second, Finn leaning to the side of her so he wouldn't crush her.
He tucked a piece of hair behind her ear, kissing her forehead.
"You want to?" He asked, making sure she's okay with it before he goes any further. She nodded and smiled, Finn smiling back.
He leans in and places his lips onto hers again, tracing his hand around her waist.
She feels his hand move it's way down to her underwear, and went even farther down in between her legs.
He let her get comfortable with the touch, and then rubbed her. He's gotten her to finish by just that, so he knows that's what she likes best. But he likes to start with a little bit of that to get her more in the mood.
He stopped rubbing, and moved his hand up to the top of her underwear, pulling it down. Millie helped take it off, and they connected their lips again.
His hand went back down and there was immediate heat radiating under the sheets. He traced the inside of her thigh lightly, causing her to let out a light groan. He disconnected their lips, connecting them lightly to her neck.
He moved his hand back to where it was, letting Millie get comfortable. He had began to rub it again, doing circle like motions which she very much likes.
Which he can tell due to how relaxed and tense she is at the same time.
He moved down, his fingers reaching the place that was already wet. He looked back up to her, and she nodded before he could say anything.
She felt him put a finger inside of her, making her feel good. He put another one in, and slowly moved them in and out of her as his thumb rubbed the outside of her. His fingers were very lanky to begin with, so he was going pretty deep.
He heard her moaning, which his is used to by now but can never get tired of hearing it.
"Finn," she said, breathless. He stopped everything he was doing, looking up to her and releasing the kiss from her chest.
"Yeah?" He asked, scanning her face for any worry.
"Could you go faster?" She asked, and he smirked and nodded. She knows that he gets cocky when she asks him things like that, but she doesn't care. He's having fun.
She felt him speed his pace up, inside her and outside of her. She felt amazing. And what he did for her was amazing to her.
She moaned at his pace, her hands in his curls as he was moving lower and lower down her body. When he reached her lower stomach, just before in between her thighs, he heard her breathing very shaky, along with her body.
He furrowed his eyebrows, stopping what he was doing and moved his face back up to hers. He scanned it, and he could tell she was out of breath.
"You okay?" He asked, and Millie smiled. She put a hand on the side of his face, and gave him a quick kiss.
"Yes, keep going." She replied, and he smiled and went back to where he was. He kissed her lower stomach, and slowly but surely made his way to where his hand was.
He removed his hand, and replaced it with his tongue. He slowly went between her lips, and found the spot Millie is crazy about.
He slowly worked his tongue on her, and he could feel her legs between him shaking already. He took one of his hands and traced it up her leg, to her waist, and up to her boob.
Millie knew Finn enjoyed this as much as she did. But she was getting very excited, and wanted him now.
She brought his head back up to her, and quickly placed her lips against his. Her hands made their way to his boxers, and he quickly took them off.
He felt Millie flip them over so she was on top, which surprised him to say the least. She moved over so she wasn't straddling him, and leaned against just one side of him.
"Let me make you feel good." She said, Finn's stomach growing with butterflies. He was already hard, which made Millie's job easy. She placed her lips onto his, and her hand reached down and lightly took hold of it.
She moved her hand up and down slowly, causing his erection to go even farther up. She continued to move her hand lightly up and down, and disconnected her lips from his.
He looked at her like she was the stars, and he watched her eye him.
"I can get on top." She said quietly, Finn's eyes widening and his eyebrows raising.
"You've never been on top before. You're sure you can?" He asked, his hand tracing her waist.
"I think so." She said, and he nodded, letting her readjust.
She straddled him, Finn leaning up against the wall just a little bit. He got a full view of her, and he couldn't stop staring.
"You're being creepy," Millie said, laughing as he laughed back.
"Just looking at the beautiful girl in front of me." He said, shrugging. Millie rolled her eyes, grinning.
She focused her attention back to his lap, and adjusted so she can get him to align with her.
She felt it go in, and she let out a small gasp. She inched lower down to his lap, letting it get deeper inside of her. She felt Finn's hand hold hers, as she looked down at him.
"You okay?" He asked, and she squeezed his hand.
"Yes, I'm okay." She replied, and he nodded. After a minute or two she got the hang of it, Finn helping her out when he needed to. He enjoyed this feeling, because he had always been the one on top with literally anyone. It's a new feeling of pleasure.
Both of their moans and panting echoed the room, as the bed would slightly creak every time Millie went down.
After a while she got off of him and laid down next to him, both of them panting. Finn was the first to look over, a goofy smile on his face Millie adored.
"You're so beautiful. I can't get over it." Finn said, making Millie blush. He saw the tint of red take over her cheeks, and he smiled then started leaving little pecks all over Millie's face. She giggled, pushing him away.
"That's too much work. You're on top from now on." She said, Finn furrowing his eyebrows and widening his mouth. Millie laughed.
"I actually liked it, so what if I decide that you're on top from now on?" He joked, Millie smiling at him.
"I will. On occasions." She said, grinning at him. He nodded, and rolled her on her back, getting on top of her.
He connected their lips once again, the feeling that will never get old.
The two had a faster pace than before, making Millie's moans even louder as well as Finn's. He moved his hand back to Millie's spot, rubbing it slow then at a pace that matched with his strokes.
She was moaning his name, digging her nails into his back. Finn was even more excited at this, going faster than before.
He felt Millie's legs shaking, knowing she's about to finish. He goes a little but longer and they finish at the same time, Millie letting out another moan.
Finn laid next to her, plopping himself on the bed. They were both panting like crazy, and he could see Millie's legs were still shaking from under the covers.
Finn turned his head to look over at her, and she turned to look at him.
"Has anyone told you you're really good. Because you're really good. Like really good." Millie said, out of breath. Finn laughed at her words.
"Um, no. But thank you." He said, winking at her.
"Okay Wolfhard, don't get too cocky over there." She said, and he laughed again. She laughed with him, and she scooted over and laid on his chest, their legs intertwining. He could feel her heartbeat on him, their skin molded together. He put his arms around her back, hugging her tight and bringing one of his hands to cup the back of her head to his chest.
"You're all good?" He asked quietly, Millie looking up to him.
"Yes, I'm all good I promise." She said, giving him a smile. He kissed her lightly on the lips, and put her head back to his chest.
"Just checking, cause your legs are shaking pretty bad." He joked, Millie shaking her head.
"I hate you." She said, Finn laughing.
"You love me." He said back, immediately regretting what came out of his mouth. Millie got tense for a second too, but laughed it off like what he meant for that sentence to do. The two ignored the slight tension of those words, because all they could think about was each other, and being close no matter what.
After a few minutes, Millie looked back up to Finn with a goofy grin.
"Round two?"
