3rd person

"Hey, are you still coming over?" Finn asked through the phone. Millie half smiled at the thought of him calling her.

"Uh-yeah, if you want me to. Whenever you're ready I'll come over." Millie replied. Finn was running around his room, throwing stuff everywhere to make it somewhat clean.

"Okay you can come over in like 15. I have to shower." Finn said, as he looked over to Jack.

"Okay, I'll see you then." Millie replied. They both said bye, and hung up. Jack looked over to Finn, taking his gaze away from his phone.

"Dude, the dorm is clean. Chill, she won't care." Jack said, and Finns cheeks grew a bit red.

"I am chill. I know she doesn't care, I just want it clean." Finn said, defending his actions. Jack smirked.

"Whatever you say Finn." Jack said, and Finn went into the bathroom to shower. Jack looked at his phone again, with new messages.

Noah- guys everyone needs to come to calebs room ASAP. Have some news about Finn and Millie

Caleb- also this is not my fault if she finds out we told you all

Grace- I'll come too, so will Lilia. Send the room number

Caleb- Sadie you want tea? I'll go get some

There was a knock at the door, and Jack went up to open the door to see Millie. She was wearing lulu leggings, and an oversized hoodie.

He only knew they were lulu leggings because Maddie wears them all the time. She shows him all of her outfits.

"Hey Millie, Finns getting out of the shower I think," Jack said, opening the door to let Millie in.

"Oh shoot, sorry I must have come early." Millie said, and Jack shrugged.

"It's okay. I-

Before Jack could finish, Finn opened the bathroom door, his curls damp all over his head.

"Oh hey Mill," Finn said, Jack smirking, letting them talk and go on his phone, back on the bed.

What a simp.

"Hey guys I'm heading out, but I'll probably back sometime tonight." Jack said, which made them both turn.

"Bye Jack," Millie said, then turning away to sit on the bed. Jack winked at Finn, and Finn flipped him off.

"See ya dude," Finn said, as Jack exited the bedroom.

Leaving Finn and Millie.

Millie sat comfortably on the bed, and Finn sat on the end. She eyed him, noticing that he was wearing black joggers and a white tshirt. His curls looked nice.

"So what did you wanna do?" Finn said, and Millie shrugged.

"I think we should get to know each other more." Millie said, which made Finn raise an eyebrow.

"And how would we do that?" Finn asked, and Millie smiled.

"We can ask each other questions and stuff." Millie replied, and Finn nodded. Millie was tugging at the sleeves of her sweatshirt, nervous for some reason.

"Favorite color?" She asked, and Finn grinned.

"Blue. Yours?" He asked.

"Purple." Millie replied, and he nodded. Millie looked around, and saw a guitar leaning against the wall.

"Yours or jacks?" Millie asks, which made Finn look toward her gaze on the guitar.

"Oh, it's mine. Jack and I are in a band together, we have two others, Malcolm and Ayla." Finn replied, and Millie nodded.

"So what? You are the guitar player of the band?" She asked, smiling. Finn looked at her, grinning at hers.

She's so pretty when she smiles.

"I um, I sing and play guitar." Finn replied, which made Millies eyes light up. Finn instantly regretted telling her, embarrassed.

"Can you sing a song?" Millie asked, and Finn looked over to the guitar.

"I don't know, I'm not used to singing in front of only one person. I only do it for crowds." He said, Millie noticing the light tint of red on his cheeks.

"Come on, please? I'd love to hear something." Millie said, moving closer to Finn. He noticed she shifted closer, and looked at her.

"Fine." He said, and Millies smile got wide, and she jumped off the bed to grab the guitar for Finn, handing it to him. He smiled from Millie struggling to keep it in her hands due to how heavy it was.

He positioned himself with his back against the wall of the bed, Millie moving to sit in front of him to watch him. Finn set the guitar in his lap, putting his fingers on the strings and playing random tunes, to get used to the guitar again. Millie already loved how he could easily play it.

"Do you have any songs from your band you can play? Or something you like?" Millie asked, and Finns eyes moved up to meet hers.

She makes me so nervous.

"Um, yeah. Sure. We did this song once, I think you know it." Finn said, and Millie smiled, excited to hear him sing. He looked back down to the guitar, and strummed the melody of the song he was going to sing.

My Kind of Woman. I knew it.

She looked to him as he stopped, and looked back up to her. She furrowed her eyebrows.

"I know the song. Can you sing it?" Millie asked, which made Finns cheeks go red. Millie immediately noticed.

"Why so red Finn? Scared to sing in front of me?" Millie joked, laughing. Finn laughed, looking around the room trying to meet anything except her gaze.

"I've never sang in front of a singular person," Finn said, and Millie laughed a little bit.

"Come on, please?" Millie asked, a smile on her face. Finn couldn't say no to her.

"Okay, fine." He replied, his heart beating out of his chest.

I'm really about to do this shit.

He strummed the melody again. He took a breath, and Millie watched his fingers work on the guitar intently.

"Oh baby....oh man. You're makin me crazy, really driving me mad,"

Wait why is he actually good?

"That's all right with me, it's really no fuss," Finn continued to sing softly, the tune of the song on the guitar. Millie felt her cheeks grow red, the sound of him singing lighting her up.

"As long as you're next to me...just the two of us." He stopped singing, and strummed the melody a couple seconds after. He stopped, and looked up to Millie.

"Finn that was so good," Millie said, smiling at him. Finn lightly smiled back, raising his eyebrows.

"Why are you so red? You weren't even singing." Finn asked, Millie shrugged and looked away from him. Finn smirked, and looked back down to the guitar.

"Do you want to try and learn?" Finn asked, Millie meeting his gaze again. She nodded. Finn patted the bed next to him for Millie to sit, and she did just that. Their sides were touching as she sat next to him.

He took the guitar out of his lap, and gently placed it on Millies lap, which was much smaller than his. She's a little small for the guitar, but that's okay.

She held the guitar, and strummed her fingers across the strings. It wasn't a tune, but it sounded pretty. Finn moved to sit in front of Millie, close to her. Millies heartbeat sped up, looking up to him.

"Chill mill, just helping." Finn said, and she smiled and nodded. He gently took one of her hands and set her fingers on certain strings, then reached out and did the same to the arm that was on the end of the guitar.

"Okay, strum it." Finn said, and she did as he said. It was a part of the song he just sang.

"That's really cool actually," Millie said, and Finn nodded. He sat there, admiring the girl in front of him who was actually interested in his music. Nobody ever shows interest in his music, so he never talks about it. They sat in silence for a little, enjoying it.

In the other dorm, it was so loud nobody could hear themselves think.

"Okay everyone shut up and listen!" Noah yelled, getting everyone's attention over to him.

"Okay so I don't know if our plan worked, but Millie came to Caleb and I today and talked about Finn and asked about like his romantic life and stuff." Noah said, and Sadie perked up.

"Wait really? Is she into him?" Sadie asked, and Noah shrugged.

"I don't know, it seemed like she was trying to figure out if he was into her." Caleb replied, and she nodded.

"She also showed up with hickeys like all over the side of her neck." Noah said, leaving everyone surprised except Maddie, who was sitting next to Jack.

"You knew and didn't tell us?" Gaten asked, and Maddie laughed.

"Yeah, she told me not to. I'm trustworthy, unlike you two." Maddie said, and Lilia laughed.

"Okay do you know anything that happened that night? We need details Maddie, details." Noah said.

"Well when she came home Finn was with her. Like she couldn't walk and Finn helped her in, and he ended up staying the night. Wait, I have a picture from the morning." Maddie said, going into her phone, looking for the picture of the two. When she found it, she handed it around for everyone to see.

"Oh my god, that is adorable." Sadie said, Caleb watching her.

Writing that down. Taking notes.

"Okay so what? Like Finns definitely into her then right?" Lilia asked, and Jack nodded.

"Oh, for sure. They're hanging out all the time. He was a mess today when he was trying to get ready for Millie to come over." Jack said, and everyone turned to him.

"They're hanging out right now?" Everyone asked, their voice raised a little. Jack nodded, and everyone looked at each other.

"Okay, case solved. They like each other." Noah said, and Lilia agreed.

"I say we let them play it out. Just some little pushes from us, nothing big though." Maddie said, and everyone agreed.

"Okay, agreed."
