Twinkle Twinkle *

Thanks to youarebeautiful40904 again for giving me inspiration! I wrote my poem "Writer's Block" and this wonderful person replied with a topic for me to write about. I'd appreciate other suggestions as to what you readers want a poem about. I LOVE to write so please give me some ideas. But anyways, here's to that awesome follower, youarebeautiful40904 !

So what can I say
About the stars
Beautiful, wonderful
Glorious they are
Then there's the twinkle
Twinkle little
How I wonder
If you're made of metal
Silver, gold, bronze
Nickel, brass, tin
Embedded in the empty
Black obsidian
Red as rubies bright
Blue as sapphires pale
Smaller than the dust
Imagine it? I fail
To comprehend the beauty
Yet I stare in awe-
Struck wonder at the purity
Of little tiny stars
There's the twinkle
And the twinkle little
Yet you're gigantic
Gigantic little
Shiny metal shimmering
Fiery sparks simmering
Molten jewels glimmering
I still sit a wondering
What can I say
About the stars
Indescribable, unexplainable
Unreachable, untouchable
Awe-inspiring
Wonder-inducing
Glorious beyond the heavens afar
Yet in our minds
They still are
Twinkle twinkle
Little stars
