Many (most) people don't understand the concept of loving a friend without being in a dating relationship. I have to say that one of the best examples of this is Harry Potter's relationship with Hermione Granger, especially how it's displayed in the movie--the dance scene in particular. I sadly do not have one of these friend relationships, because literally no one my age understands that they can exist. I hope some of you readers have one of these friendships, and if you don't then at least try to understand what I mean. Thanks for reading and PLEASE COMMENT!

The moon
The sun
One life ends
One life's begun
From the ashes of the other
There is born a new one

The sun
Then the moon
Ray's of light
Shine on soon
To illuminate the other
Without them, it's doomed

Again to the moon
Back to the sun
As the first light dies
The second has begun
Following the hope of the other
There shines a new one

And the sun
To the moon
Reflecting the first
But dying soon
Always dark when alone
Without the pair, they are doomed

The friend moon
The companion sun
Two destinies meet
Something beautiful has begun
Never meant to be alone
But to be with that certain one

The companion sun
Then the friend moon
Nothing when apart
But loved by each other soon
Tied with a rope of pure rose-red
To be forever, beautifully doomed

Again to the friend moon
Back to the companion sun
Forever to be soulmates
Their journey has begun
Not assumed soul-dates
They are not two, but one

And the companion sun
To the friend moon
Inescapable love
Hopefully understood soon
Soulmates forever tied
Destined, fated, doomed.
