Immature in an attempt to fit in. We are quick to
Judge and slow to think
Kinder thoughts. When we are told to
Love others
More than ourselves, the selfish
Nature
Of the human heart
Protests indignantly. We see ourselves as kings and
Queens, yet
Refuse to
See others in
The same way. We are
Underhanded creatures,
Vetted by experiencing the
World of lies, the
Xenial behavior that is always fake, and still we
Yearn for it to be real. Thus we
Zealously pursue the truth, while living within our own lie.
