The depths of my mind a darkness dwells
A place where pain and sorrow are all I can tell.

but even in the darkness I find a faint light
a glimmer of hope that keeps me in the fight.

For in the shadows,
we often find the answers we seek
& in the poetry of the dark
we find the beauty
