Sparking, shining
Spreading light throughout the world
Hangs above the humans dining
Listening to every word

The sun
Sits in the blackness
Alone
In the vastness

The stars comfort
This lonely light
Large in numbers
Many more, just out of sight

The sun
Shines brighter
Than every star
Inspiring the writer
Visible; wherever you are

Stars comfort the lonely sun
In it's millennia long existence
Offering their sweet assistance
In lighting up the sky
The danger dark must no longer lie
The light cannot die
Until darkness, hath not won
