The mirror shows the wall
A shade of yellow
The reflection a masking shawl
Hiding the true fellow

The great impersonator
Hiding the real person in there
With feeling, thoughts and emotions
Hidden beneath reflected commotion
Of others they pretend to be
The great pretence, if only
they could see
