I was sitting in an interview and the host kept on asking me questions about me, my life, my background, my family and so on... But one question actually made me sit uptight and made me think for a while for a wonderful answer.

He asked me,
Host: Ma'am as it is said that behind every man's success is a woman, so who was behind yours? Though you are not a man but you are the most successful actress with 7 constant super-duper hit films. I guess it might be your mom or your cousin sister. Like every guy I guess even behind a woman's success is a woman! So ma'am, do you even feel that behind every person's success is a woman?

Being a bit astonished by the question I had to reply after thinking for a bit. And this gave me the best answer..

I said,
Me: Well actually no! Umm.. can I ask you a question in return if you don't mind.
Host: sure!
Me: Who is behind your success?
Host: My mom of course... She brought me to this industry!
Me: Okay! So your mom being such a big superstar.. who was behind her success?

There was no answer from the host. Well this gave me a chance to give my best answer uptill now. And here's what I said after that..

Me: Everyone says that behind every successful man there is a woman...
But behind my success uptill now is a man.. and he would always be!!
Making me stand upon my own feet. He was the one who made me feel proud of myself, teaching me that nothing is perfect in this world, even the earth is not the perfect round then how can we be.
Wiping of those tears which fell everytime I failed and making me smile by asking 'why are crying? Are you a girl?' And this would make me smile and because of me he would smile too.
Running behind me madly and helping me every now and then, yes he is the one. In the world, where everyone wanted a boy and infact begged in front god to have a boy, but, he had something else in his mind. He always wanted a girl and here I am. He never made me feel that I would never be able to do anything because I was a girl. He never made me feel that he required a son to make him proud, for him I was not his 'son to make him proud' but 'a daughter with huge wings who would fly so high and take him with her'.
For him I was no less than a boy, he made me stronger than steel but he also made sure that I was softer than feather. For him I am the 'kuldeepak' of our house. Whenever someone asked him what would your daughter do 'aaj iss Ghar mein hai, Toh kal koi aur' he would just reply 'woh Mera naam uncha karegi chahe woh iss Ghar mein ho ya koi aur'. For him I was not just a princess but also a fighter.
So no.. not everytime there is a woman behind someone's success there can be a man too and I guess I don't need to tell who this man is to me.

A clean silence and I was awarded with a huge round of applause and most claps being from him standing right behind the camera.

P.S. - my dad says that I never confess my love for him (which indeed is true) but though I never express my feelings for him but if he is ever gonna get to read this then this one is surely dedicated to him because he is the man behind my success.

P.S.S. - I am never gonna tell him because it's gonna burst his ego 😂😂
