i dislike having warm thoughts

Nectar from sun collected

The very essence of warmth

All over my face spilled

Then slid into my throat

The burns of slight discomfort

The overwhelming liquid

Surrounded by my own thoughts

Crumbling way too quickly

Unprepared for such change

My body bends and whimpers

Bones broken, face disfigured

A call which only lingers

Better undiscovered

With my head held tightly

A shell is all that is left

Of a mind which once shone brightly
