Leon's Past (incomplete)
This was for a prompt I found worth giving a shot. Hope you enjoy it.

"Why can't I ever stay happy?" Leon asked no one in particular as he stared at the living room ceiling.
"Maybe it's because you are weak minded." Tatiana, his sister, offered as she flipped through an art magazine.
"Or maybe it's the fact that you haven't been laid in two months." Aarion, one of the twins, spoke up as he continued to demolish his twin, JaMaurio, in a game of streetfighter who grunted in agreement and distress.
"I think it's because Tatiana beat him at his own game." Tigera chimmed in from the kitchen behind them where she was attempting to bake cookies. This brought a smirk to said sibling's face.
"Or, or, or his lack of friends his own age." Kitty, who was helping her sister by making sure the kitchen didn't burn down, scoffed sarcastically in response.
"And this is why I'm single. Because nobody wants to be in contact with the lot of you all!" Leon growled out, muttering bitterly, "This is the last time I ask a general question outloud where my stupid siblings can hear."
"That is rude." Tatiana flipped a page of her magazine with boredom.
Leon wiped his hands down his face in frustration. "I'm going upstairs."
No one said anything to his departure, which he didn't mind. As he went up the stairs, he glanced at the picture frames hanging on the wall, ones of them as a large family, others of them individually.
One picture caught his eye. It was the one of him when he was first picked up from the orphanage. He was tall for a six year old, sky blue eyes wide in speculation as he looked at the camera. His curly red hair was just past his ears, parted down the middle of his head to keep it out of his face.
He smiled at the memory of that day, but was quickly saddened by the memories that followed.
"We will always be together, mate."
"Yeah, always be together." He whispered to himself before snatching his eyes away from the photos.
At the top of the stairs, he was stopped by his sister, Camille, who gave him a worried look. "Is everything alright, Leon?" Her voice hinted at sympathy causing the door to his emotions to shut immediately.
"Yes, Camille, I am fine. I was just caught up in old memories, that's all." He half smiled at her, before walking passed her towards his room down the hall.
"Why is it that you always find a reason to brush off the past?" Her words made him halt. "You have to open that door one day, Leon. You have to face the demons you carry with you, or you will never be happy." She said the words softly, but loud enough for him to hear. She sighed before adding. "Sometimes, you have to forgive yourself." She proceeded to walk down the steps, leaving her words with him.
He, too, sighed and walked down the hall to his door. He eyed the closed door, staring at the blue paint, but not seeing it. He saw nothing but the demons he hid away.

"What are you afraid of? Scared the monsters will come out to get you?" The older boy teased, poking fun at a young one who rubbed his blue eyes tiredly, tear stains down his cheeks.
The toddler nodded his head with a whimper. His smile was wiped clean off as he pulled the boy to his side. "Nothing is going to get you, I promise, Leon. I'm your big brother now."
Leon looked at the older kid, taking in his blonde hair cut short and bright blue eyes. "You promise?"
The older boy ruffled Leon's hair. "I promise, Leon. You can call me Big Brother Joseph from now on." Joseph smiled big at him causing Leon to smile back.
~~~
"Leon, you okay?" He jumped at the sound of Tatiana's voice.
He mentally shook himself. "Yes, yes, I'm fine." He growled out before finally opening his door and walking in. The door closed before Tatiana could reply.
He moved swiftly to his king sized bed and collapsed on the plush fabric ready to let the demons take him into the darkness hidden in his memories.
"We have a new member to the orphanage, boys." Said the lady that took care of them. Miss Macy was her name, all that long ago.
Behind her stood a ruff little red headed girl, three years older than Leon at the time. "Her name is Magnolia. You all be nice to her, you hear?"
"Yes, Miss Macy." Came the monotone reply of the boys in the large room made into a cafeteria.
"Now, go along there Magnolia, they ain't gonna bite." Miss Macy pushed the little girl along. When she was in full view of the boys, Miss Macy turned around and left the room, closing the doors behind her.
Magnolia looked around the room with scared eyes until they landed on Joseph and Leon.
Leon turned away and blushed. She was cute for an eight year old. She had long curly red hair that reached her elbow and ivory skin that seemed soft to the touch. The one thing that stook out to Leon the most was her eyes. They were a beautiful hazel-green that showed someone wiser than their years.
She stared at the pair for a long time before turning away and moved to a secluded corner where the rest of the boys forgot about her, the only girl of the orphanage.
It wasn't until a couple days later when Joseph decided to approach Magnolia, who stayed to herself the entire week, scaring off any boy who approached her.
It was there outside for play time and she sat under a shady tree, her eyes closed as she listened to the chaos around her.
Joseph had spotted her and nudged Leon before walking in her direction.
"My name is Austin, but I go by Joseph." Was the first thing out of his mouth as he stretched out his hand to greet her.
She had her hair up today, her ponytail high and out of her face. She peeked up at him through one eye and sighed before closing it again. "The blonde from the first day. I know who you are." She leaned over to look at the much smaller boy hiding behind him. "I know the runt, too." She gestured with her hand to Leon.
Joseph patted Leon's curly head in comfort before sitting down. "How old are you?"
"Nine. And you?"
"Eleven. Leon is five." He offered as he gestured for Leon to sit as well.
The toddler sat cross legged in front of her and nodded. "I'll be six in five months." He held up four fingers before adjusting it to five after a quick count.
"Ah, the golden age." Magnolia said with wonder, looking at the treetops as if in a memory. "I wish I could go back."
~~~
"Me too, Magnolia, me too." He whispered against the pillow he didn't remember grabbing while swimming through the past.
"Are you going to tell us what's on your mind now that you are awake?" A very familiar and annoying voice pipped up from the otherside of the room.
He shot up and stared at his siblings who sat on the other side of the room in various positions. "What the--Get out!" He pointed to the door angrily.
Tatiana crossed her arms. "No way! Something is bothering you and we are here to help and guide you." Everyone looked at her shocked. Aarion leaned in and whispered, "That was pretty good." To where she whispered back, "I read that in a book somewhere."
