Snap, go the branches, under her feet.
Alert, are her senses, eyes darting all around.
Crunch, go the dried leaves, as they scatter and dance.
Alarm, what was that, what on earth was that sound?

Snap, go the rotted fingers, as they secure round her ankles.
Gasp, out loud, her lungs feel strangled and crushed.
Thud, goes her body, as it connects forcefully with the ground.
Silence, only silence, as she disappears completely, to never be found.
