Entry 17: 苦痛 Pain

「Agonizing pain,
hurting both body and mind,
let it fade away.
Let me shoulder your burden,
let me carry your anguish.」

"Get away from her!" My sudden 

yelling caught me by surprise. 

The men turned around. They

jeered. "What did you say, brat?"

"Why are you bothering her? She

clearly-" Before I could finish my

sentence, the man in the middle

kicked me to the ground. 

I laid there on the cold ground, 

as the men beat me. I tried to 

cover my face, the pain beyond

excruciating. This is all I can do.
