Entry 9: 羨望 Envy

「One of many sins.

Infecting you like the plague.

So much desire,

eating away, corrupting.

I only want what you have.」

"There is nowhere for me to go."

Her cold gaze froze me in place.

"I have to go now. Thank you."

The girl weakly got up. She fell.

Her cough was violent, hacking.

I impulsively helped her back up.

"Look you need to get more rest."

She was already unconscious. Sigh.

What a foolish girl, staying out.

But her words echoed in my head.

I will find out what she meant.
