Drowning beneath the waves.

Only to find a rock staring back.
The coursing waves dragged me under,
Filling my mouth with the bitterness.
Again we face the mess,
The mess I wound myself in.

Only to find one left with the petals.

Leaving love behind as you walk,
Dragging it by the thin of its neck.
Nails digging into flesh,
Flesh rotting away from its bone.
