"He should have text me back already." I sigh as my cat curls up on my stomach.

It's late and I'm laying on my bed. The only sound is the whirring of my fan I have sitting on my night stand.

*Bing bing*

My phone goes off lighting up the entire room. His name pops up on the screen and my heart soars. I quickly open it up.

"I'm sorry. I can't do this anymore."

My heart sinks as I press the call button. Sitting up on my bed I listen to the phone ring. He doesn't pick up. I call again and again and still no answer.

"Why?" I ask as I send him a text.

Time ticks by as my mind goes over every detail of our "relationship".

*bing bing*

"You're a sweet girl. I just found someone better."

My heart completely shatters. How many more times can I possibly hear that in my life? Through tears I text him back, "there's always someone better than me."
