Part 2 - Step One: Remove Existing Section Breaks

Only do these steps if you have actually Section breaks. If you're not sure whether you have section breaks or not, it shouldn't hurt anything to complete these steps.

1. Place your cursor at the very top of your document. Control + the Home key on your keyboard will jump you up there.

2. Select the Replace button in the Editing group of the Home tab in the ribbon.

3. When the Find and Replace dialog window opens, click the More button to see all the extra options.

4. Click the Special button and choose Section Break. That should have put a ^b in the "Find what" box.

5. Place your cursor in the "Replace with" box.

6. Click the Special button and choose Manual Page Break. That should have put a ^m in the "Replace with" box.

7. Click the Find Next button to go to the first Section Break. If it doesn't find any, you are good to go and can close the "Find and Replace" box with the Cancel button.

8. If it did find one, go ahead and click Replace. If nothing completely wacky happened, go ahead and select Replace All.

Step One is complete. Doesn't that feel good?!
