"Do you trust me?" Yunho asked with an extended hand. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't terrified of Mingi's answer.

Mingi's eyebrows creased showing just how he was feeling by what the older was saying. "Trust you? Yunho, what are you talking about-" Mingi took a moment to think about the entire situation in front of him and his eyes widened, "Oh god, what are you planning on doing?"

"Mingi, I love you, but we don't have much time. If you plan on joining me, you need to articulate that now or step out of my way."

The fact that Yunho was planning on going through with something like this, with or without his mate, broke the younger's heart, but it also showed just how serious and passionate Yunho was towards his beliefs. Without getting to deeply think about the consequences that may haunt them after this, Mingi reached his hand forward, locking it with his mate's.

"I love you, Yunho, I'll always trust you and I'll always follow you... anywhere."

Yunho flashed a shy smile. He was so thankful that his mate chose to follow him, but his face quickly turned back to one of determination. They didn't have much time, so they had to move now.

The sirens still blared throughout the entire facility as Yunho scrambled for what to do next. He was shaking. "I-I don't know what to do n-next. I really didn't think this through" he looked toward Mingi for an idea.

"Okay, okay" He breathed. "Let's go ahead and kill the security cameras. They'll be able to see that you and I entered here, but they won't be able to see anything else. Let's do that and then we can run to where the Omegas are being held."

Yunho nodded in agreement. The one advantage that him and his mate will have, is that most people won't suspect them, especially Mingi who has been more than dedicated and loyal to Sigma. Mingi was giving up a lot for his Beta right now, and Yunho would forever be grateful to the Alpha.

Once Mingi logged on to the computer and pressed a few buttons, all of the cameras around the entire building were shut down. "Alright baby, we're going to have to be great actors okay?" Yunho nodded, understanding exactly what the younger meant by that.

The couple bolted to the third floor of the building, where the Omega's were held. There was a Beta researcher standing in the middle of the hall that had cells on either wall. He looked frantic and confused by the alarms randomly going off, but when the Beta saw Mingi coming forward, he looked a little relieved.

"Mingi" he spoke quite loudly above the ringing alarms, "Do you know what's going on? Why have the alarms been activated?"

The Alpha stood tall and confident before responding, "We're not entirely sure. I was sent up here to keep watch over the Omegas just in case this is another one of those ambushes we've been notified about from other facilities and if that's the case, I'd like my mate to also be in my sight" he gestured toward Yunho who was standing right next to him with a faked worried expression.

The other Beta nodded in understanding because Alphas were always very protective and territorial over their mates. "Well, thank goodness we have you Mingi!" The Beta spoke in awe. Yunho rolled his eyes, though he was used to hearing people speak to his mate this way. Everyone sucked up to the Alphas here.

"You might tell your teams to hide. Notify the others that I'm already on the lookout up here. This could get ugly if it's like the stories we've heard" Mingi suggested.

The Beta nodded and scrambled away with fear written all over his face.

It's true that there have been many rumors of attacks on multiple fertility facilities all over Supreme City. The government likes to keep these kinds of events under wraps as to not concern the entire city, so there was no telling if they were true or not. But luckily, the Beta bought Mingi's story. It left him and Yunho alone.

This facility was average in size, so they didn't have too many Omegas being kept here. Right now, it only housed 18 Omegas total, so Yunho hoped that that gave them a better chance of pulling this 'operation' off.

As soon as Mingi made sure the coast was clear, he gave Yunho a thumbs up.

Yunho took a deep breath before entering a code on the keypad in the wall, a code that they teach all of the intern Betas, but one that no one ever expects to actually be used for any reason. As soon as the code was entered, every cell door down the hall was unlocked at once, cracking themselves open.

"Shit" Mingi whispered under his breath. They were actually doing this. His mate definitely owes him for this later.

The couple blankly stared down the hallway at all of the opened cell doors. It was silent aside from the obnoxious alarm that hasn't ceased. No one moved, which is understandable considering that the imprisoned Omegas are probably terrified and confused and they still had no idea what the hell they were actually doing.

"Mingi, stay back. They're going to be scared of you, none of them are used to being around Alphas" Yunho instructed. "They'll be a little frightened by me too." The Beta looked down at his lab coat and scrunched his face in disgust, but for now he'll have to wear it to keep up his act.

Yunho wasn't sure how he was going to accomplish this. He had never even imagined doing this today, but still, that memory of golden irises kept bringing him back to why he was doing this in the first place.

So he began from the back of the hallway, starting with cell 18, where he just ran away from just a short while ago. He took a deep breath before entering the cell once again, ready to put on a show.

"Let's go!" Yunho shouted, making the whimpering Omega in heat jump. The Omega didn't move initially, partially from his worn out body and also from how terrified he was. His yellow irises widen in surprise and terror. "Come on, we have to go now! We don't have time to waste!"

"Where are we going?" The young Omega pleaded, brushing his silver bangs out of his eyes. "Please don't let them take me and impregnate me. I don't want to have a p-pup... not l-like this!" The young male started to sob.

"That's not what's happening, but we need to leave! Now!" Yunho made sure to keep up his scary scientist persona as he reached for the Omega by the arm, pulling him off the bed and pushing him toward the door. The Beta hated acting this way, but he wasn't sure how else to get the seriousness across. He didn't have time to individually explain to each Omega his escape plan. And their really wasn't a plan.

The Omega tried the best he could to stand up straight, but his heat was making it very difficult. "I-I can't hardly stand" his voice shook.

Yunho flashed him an expression of sympathy. This really was a bad time to do this, especially since there were currently three Omegas in the middle of their heats, but now the Beta was committed. There's no going back now. He would never get to see the light of day if he was caught now.

The Beta wrapped an arm around the frail Omega's waist, pulling his arm over his shoulder to help him stand and guided him to lean against the hallway wall.

"Stay here. Mingi is keeping guard. I have to get the others." The boy's attention was directed toward the Alpha standing at the opposite end of the hall. When the Omega had initially entered the hallway, the Alpha's nostrils flared at the overpowering rose scent that now inhabited the air. Even as a mated Alpha, the scent of an Omega in heat still made it difficult to keep his wolf at bay.

Yunho went through each cell, hurriedly dragging each of the Omega's out of their rooms to collect them all in the small space.

Some of the Omegas became protective of the three Omegas in the midst of their heats, standing in front of them to guard them from the strange Beta scientist and the Alpha guard. It was interesting, especially since none of them have actually interacted with one another. It was an instinct to be so defensive.

"Okay!" Yunho said to grab the group's attention. "We're getting you out of here, but we have to move now! The rest of the security team will be coming straight here as soon as they see that their cameras have been shut down, so let's move!"

Most of the Omega's looked skeptical towards what the Beta had to say, but honestly, what did they have to lose at this point?

They could take a very risky chance and follow this seemingly crazed Beta, or they can stay here, living as test subjects for the rest of their lives. The group silently nodded, agreeing to follow.

The Beta noticed how one of the Omegas had a swollen belly that they were protectively cradling and the feeling of guild started to overwhelm him.

Yunho took a moment to swallow the lump in his throat. He had never even imagined getting this far, and now, many Omega lives were in his hands. They have all just agreed to follow his lead, putting their own lives at stake for the chance of freedom. And Yunho has no idea what the hell he's doing.

What the hell am I supposed to do!? Yunho internally panicked, forgetting that Mingi could feel everything that he was thinking through their mating bond.

Baby, we are too far in this now to give up! We can do this. We have to do this. Mingi rested a hand on Yunho's shoulder, attempting to comfort the older as best as he could, but he was just as worried. They were going to have to push through the anxiety they both had. I'll lead the way.

Mingi waved for the group to follow as they headed directly for the stairs. Their goal was to keep pushing forward toward the back exit. As the group moved, they could hear other workers shouting, clearly puzzled by what was taking place.

"Stop, stop! What are you guys doing?" One of Yunho's coworkers shouted as he passed by the herd. Yunho kept his stoic expression, ignoring the other Beta,  and continuing his pace. "I'm calling all security here! This is crazy, even for you, Yunho!"

Mingi growled at the man, his eyes flashing red, while he whipped his gun out of the holster on his hip. The Alpha has never once directed a shot toward another wolf, but he wouldn't hesitate to do so in order to protect his mate and himself.

The other Beta held his hands up in defense, terror visible in his eyes. Mingi waved him away, and the poor guy ran away at the chance, too afraid to do anything else.

Mingi led the group to the back door in a hustle, hoping that it would be clearer than the front entrance. It was mostly empty, except for a couple of Alpha's dressed in their security uniforms.

The two Alphas were immediately alert as soon as they smelled the overwhelming scent of the Omegas, especially those in their heats. The smell was so mouth-watering, and most Alphas never get the opportunity to smell or taste it themselves. The wolf's growled and their irises turned a blood red color as they spotted the approaching group.

Mingi didn't hesitate to direct his weapon towards the pair by the back door, firing two shots that left them both on the floor. "We need to run!" The Alpha yelled, knowing that the gunshots were going to alarm the rest of the building to where they are. "Right fucking now!"

The Alpha shoved the door open and grabbed his mate's hand, forcibly pulling him as he began to sprint ahead of the rest of the group. "Mingi, wait!" Yunho called. "The Omegas!"

"I'm not fucking doing this for them, I'm doing this for you! And right now, we need to run. If they catch us, we're as good as dead! We got the Omega's to the exit. Now they're on their own!"

Yunho whimpered and fell into submission at his Alpha's tone. He let Mingi drag him forward as they sprinted into the city. SHIFT! Mingi ordered, making the Beta shift into his wolf form to run faster.

Shouting could be heard in the background. Yunho allowed himself to turn around for only a second and the chaotic scene absolutely destroyed him.

Guilt saturated him as he watched several Omegas desperately shift and dart as fast as they possibly could to get away, spreading out in all different directions, but with no idea of where they should go. He internally flinched as many of them were tackled by Alpha security team members, who then aggressively handcuffed them while making them submit, bringing them back to their permanent nightmare. Their chance at freedom was gone just as fast as it had come.

Yunho started to hyperventilate while his Alpha forced him to continue forward. He wasn't prepared for this. He should have had a plan before acting so recklessly. He was causing more harm than good. This was all his fault.

I fucked up.

So, I'm not really happy with how this turned out. I knew how I wanted this chapter to play out, but I'm not sure if I executed it well. I hope you guys like it though.

Anyways. So uh... Yunho didn't really think things through did he?
