( INTRODUCTION )

( VIOLET "VI" YEN ) has put everyone's thoughts and feelings before herself for her entire. This may have been a result of her parent's constant neglect and high expectations, or the fact that her siblings seemed to fulfill all of those expectations while no matter how hard she tried, she didn't. But regardless, Violet's entire life was fueled by her desire to help and think of others before herself. 

( HER PARENTS ) had always had the dream of her becoming a surgeon, following in her father's footsteps. But she attempted to pursue her own passions before going through a traumatic life event. And after it, she tries to gain back her parent's trust starting the path to become a surgeon. 

( BUT ) her siblings see how miserable she is and how their parents have been treating her and encourage her to leave her parent's dream behind. However, she's fallen in love with helping people and decides to pursue being a paramedic and firefighter, which eventually leads her to the 118. 

( THE 118 ) becomes her home and family, and she grows very close with two specific firefighters. However, her past comes back to haunt her many times and maybe not even her new life can help her with that.

So I am very excited to write this. I have so much planned and yes, this is a polyamorous fanfic with Buck and Eddie both as her love interests. 

There's going to be quite a lot of serious topics discussed in this work which is why there is a trigger warning. Violet goes through a lot and I will put warnings on the chapters that will feature the more heavy topics but please be wary before reading this.
