a sleeping force that never spoke

and i bit my lip and
unclipped my SOAKED wings and took
in a breathe of air

you cleared rhe oxygen
like the saving grace you came to be
over text messages ans glowing blue screens

you took my hand and heart
and showed me how
we could make it through
this endless maze of life somehow

you never really see
how pretty and great you are
your eyes are blind from
the spotlight on me

so dim the lights and
let me kiss your cheek
and ill tell you

how much you mean to me

the grains of sand
the stars in the sky;
when waves never push
and the sea gets dry

When a phantom becomes beauty
and when the fake rose dies;
