You woke up, a little dizzy. You felt stronger, yet weak. You noticed you were surrounded with nothing but pitch blackness. You floated and tried to call for someone...but no one came. You heard a sharp giggle, you knew who it was. "H e l l o  Y / N . . ." You turned to see Chara holding the essence of your soul. "Chara...why are you doing this?!" You yelled. "W h y? W H Y?! I v e  s p e n t  m y  w h o l e  l i v e l e s s  l i f e  t r y i n g  t o  f i n d  a  w a y  t o  d e s t r o y  t h i s  r a c e  o f  y o u r s  a n d  I v e  f  i n a l l y  f o u n d  o u t  h o w!" Chara said with a psychotic voice. She held a knife and launched towards you, you barely dodged the attack. "But, aren't you human?" You asked. Chara laughed. "M y  d e a r e s t  Y / N,  y o u  r e a l l y  h a v e  n o  i d e a, h u h?" A knife appeared in front of you. "F i g h t  me!" She launched towards you again. Somehow, your soul ached seeing her. Instead of a genocidal freak, you saw a girl who wants a hug. You snapped and barely dodged her attack again. "I won't fight you!" You said. But Chara ignored as her eyes started turning black. She tried to hit you in every direction but you kept dodging. You felt tired and fell on your knees. You heard footsteps coming closer to you. "A n y  l a s t  w o r d s?" She said. You dropped the knife and hugged her tightly with no hesitation. She seems to have a human form because of your soul. "What are you doing?! Let me go!" Chara said, her voice less psychotic. She started to cry as she hugged you tightly. "Let me go...please...please..." You patted her back. "It's okay, Chara. I'm right here, everythings gonna be fine" you quietly said, making both of you smile. Later, you asked her. "Now, let me ask you. Why do you want to erase humanity?" You asked as you both let go. Her eyes changed back to its red color. "Because I hate it..." Chara muttered. "Why?" You asked. Chara opened her mouth but no words came out. "So...you were corrupted..." You said. You realized Chara would never do such things like this and just be in peace...but she was corrupted. "Y/N!" Chara screamed as she protected you. You gasped as you saw a stem stab her through her body, blood dripped from the stem. "Chara!" The stem disappeared and you caught her. "Y/N...s-save them...y-your friends...before it's too...l-late" Chara said and finally closed her eyes. The essence of your soul floated out of  Chara and into your body. You cried. Even though you just knew each other for a short time, it hurts to see your friend die like this. You felt pain as the essence of your soul come back inside your soul. "Heh...pain is nothing when you're hurt like this..." You said as you hugged her tight. "You used me as your puppet and now you want to give up?! Good! You died! So what?! I'm sick of you!" You didn't mind the voice. The atmosphere around you started to turn white.

"CHARA!!" You said as you sat up. "Woah, calm down there, bud" You turned to Sans. You started crying and hugged him tight. He hugged you back as he soothed you. "She was just an innocent child, Sans...she was just corrupted..." Your voice muffled in his hoodie. "Shhhhh...it's okay. I'm sure she's somewhere safe and is finally in peace" Sans said. He  seems to understand, after everything Chara did to him from the past timelines. You smiled as you calmed down from Sans's soothing voice.
Gaster sighed in relief and sat down on the chair. He stared at the screen with concern. He saw everything with Sans, he was just glad that Y/N is safe. But he still worriedly stared at the screen. He just realized Chara wasn't their real enemy after all.
