ANNIE RAN ONTO THE FIELD with the rest of the party, except Will of course. The poor buy was standing on the field, having an another episode. Again.

"Will wake up!" Dustin and Annie shouted.

Suddenly, Joyce came onto the field.

"Dustin!" Joyce exclaimed.

Dustin looked at her. "Mrs. Byers?"

"Will. I just found him like this! I think he's having another episode!" Mike told them.

"Will! Will! Will! Sweetie, wake up! It's Mom! Will!" Joyce said shaking Will.

Will choked.

"Will, wake up! Can you hear me?"

Will continued choking.

"Will, please, just wake up. Please, wake up!"

Will kept choking.

Joyce screeched. "It's Mom! It's me!"

Will suddenly opened his eyes and gasped.

As Joyce took Will home. Lucas, Max, Annie, Dustin, and Mike stood outside the school.

"Okay, that totally freaked me out. Did that not freak you guys out?" Max said.

"Two episodes in two days." Lucas said.

"It's getting worse." Mike noted.

Lucas sighed. "You think it's True Sight?"

"Of course it is dumbass." Annie replied.

Max raised her eyebrows. "What's True Sight?"

Lucas looked to Max. "It's nothing."

ANNIE STOOD IN the garbage disposal. Will had not arrived yet, despite the party agreeing to look for Dart before school started.

"Jesus," Annie gagged as she looked through the garbage.

"Stop being a baby and do it already!" Mike exclaimed to Max.

"This is so disgusting. Is this really necessary?" Max told him.

"Y'know what Michelle," Annie snapped to Mike, "If your so concerned about Dart, why don't you go screw your self and look through this shit yourself."

Mike scoffed. "Don't get me started on you Hopper —"

Dustin rolled his eyes. "Guys, stop fighting for once. What the hell's going on?"

"What do you think? We're looking for Dart."

Lucas threw a bag of trash out of the bin.

Dustin gagged. "Jesus!"

Lucas and Annie jumped out of the trash.

Lucas looked to Dustin. "Well, well, well. Look who finally decided to show up. After I drew the short straw. Real convenient."

Max gagged. "You guys stink!"

Max walked away from Lucas and Annie, and towards Dustin.

"Hi, Max." Dustin smiled.

"Hi." Max bluntly replied.

"Where's Will?" Dustin asked.

"He'll be here." Mike answered.

Lucas threw a stick at Dustin. "Are you just gonna stand there? Or you gonna help?"

ANNIE STOOD WITH Max outside the AV room.

Mike said, "We need to talk. AV room. Right now."

Dustin, Lucas, Annie, Max and Mike started to head inside.

Mike turned around. "Party members only."

"Fuck you Michelle." Annie spat at Mike.

Dustin sighed. "Come on, Mike."

Mike looked at him. "No! This is non-negotiable."

Lucas sighed. "Sorry, guys."

"Sorry." Dustin mouthed.

MAX AND ANNIE stood at their lockers after class ended.

"What are they talking about that I can't know?" Max spat. "And why can't you just tell me already?"

"Look, it's complicated Max."

"Whatever," Max scoffed.

Lucas approached them. "Hey, guys. Have you seen Dustin? We're supposed to meet after class."

Max slammed her locker closed and walked off. Lucas and Annie exchanged a look and ran after her.

"Max! Hey, Max! Hey, where you going? Come on! We've gotta go look for Dart." Lucas called out.

"Max!" Annie shouted.

"Yeah, good luck with finding Dart."

"What is wrong with you?" Lucas said.

"Look Lucas, Max has got a right to be pissed off." Annie said.

Max scoffed. "What is wrong with me? What's wrong with you?"

"I don't understand."

"No! I don't understand! You guys act like you want me to be your friend but then you treat me like garbage! And Annie, what the hell? I thought we were actually friends, maybe even best friends! But you went ahead and left me out!"

"Y'know, fuck this." Annie groaned. "Lucas, I'm telling her."

"No your not!" Lucas told her. "Max, that's not true!"

"Yes, it is! You go and hide in the AV Club, keeping secrets like we're in second grade or something. You know, I thought you guys wanted me in your party." Max said to him. "Then Annie can know what your talking about, but you won't let her in the AV Club?"

Lucas sighed. "We do want you guys in the party. But it's..."

"But what?" Max snapped.

"There... there are just things. Things we can't tell you, all right? For your own safety. And Annie only knows because of her Dad."

"It's true Max." Annie whispered.

Max looked at them. "My own safety?"

"Yes!"

"Because I'm a girl?"

Lucas exclaimed. "What? No!"

"Did you keep secrets from Eleven?" Max said.

Annie gulped. She felt horrible for keeping Eleven a secret from Mike and the others. But then again, Mike barely knew Eleven.

"How do you know about El?" Lucas asked.

"Did you?" Max replied.

Lucas looked at her. "That was different. Trust me. Okay? That was just... just different."

"Okay. You know what? Forget it, okay? I don't wanna be in your stupid party anyway. I'm out. Have a nice life." Max said.

"Max!" Annie and Lucas yelled.

"You guys still stink, by the way!"

AN HOUR LATER, Annie went over to the Byers' residence, riding her roller skates. And to her surprise, she saw Mike at the door.

"Ah, Michelle, what a lovely surprise." Annie scoffed as she stood next to him.

"I still don't like you." Mike spat. "Even if you can do hard tricks on roller skates."

Mike knocked on the door.

Mike called out. "Hello? Will! Mrs. Byers?"

The door was unlocked by Joyce,

"Hi Mrs Byers," Annie greeted.

Joyce smiled frantically. "Hey, Mike. Hey Annie."

Mike asked. "Is Will here?"

"You know what? Now is not a really good time." Joyce said.

Annie asked. "Is he okay?"

Joyce sighed. "Yeah. You know, he's... he's just not feeling real well. He's laying down, so I'll tell him you stopped by, okay?"

Annie nodded. Knowing it wasn't a fever that made Will feel unwell.

"It's about the shadow monster, isn't it?" Mike said.
