//in which Mitsuba takes photos of Kou secretly

It was pretty much like any other day. Mitsuba was just waiting for an opportunity to see Kou Minamoto again. Kou was Mitsuba's muse. He was the only person Mitsuba wanted to take pictures of. The whole problem was that Mitsuba believed that Kou didn't even know he existed at this point.

It was the day of the sports festival that things started to change. The pink haired male was in the photography club and had the perfect excuse not to participate since he was taking the pictures. He took a bunch of pictures of his classmates having fun, only to get a bit jealous that they all were friends.

"Hey are you free?" Said someone to Mitsuba as he was focused elsewhere. "Huh..? Can't you see I'm bu- oh.." It was Kou and Sousuke kind of froze up. "U- um.. yeah I can be.. but only as long as it isn't something dirty!" He said panicking. "Nah- Nothing like that. My friend Yokoo, twisted his ankle and can't run the relay now." Kou sighed. "Why ask me? Do I look very athletic to you lame earring?" He said kind of in defense mode now. "Well- not really, but I see you watching us sometimes and just thought I'd invite you as a friend and all." Kou smiled.

Mitsuba's eyes lit up as he nodded. "A friend..? We can be friends! I- I mean as long as you don't wanna do weirdo stuff with me then that's cool with me." He said sticking out his tongue. "I'm not that weird-" Kou said grabbing his hand and dragging him to the relay. Mitsuba was probably blushing a bit. Kou actually wanted to be his friend and that meant the world to him.

They didn't actually win the relay. In fact, Mitsuba fell on his face and lost the whole thing, but that didn't really matter. As the day went Kou and Mitsuba seemed to have gotten a lot closer. "Hey Kou- We are really friends right? Before today you didn't even seem to notice me." The pink haired male said a little embarrassed as the sun started to set. "Of course I noticed. You take pictures of the class all the time." Kou said smiling a bit.

Mitsuba was a blushing mess. Minamoto was so dense and dumb, yet he managed to make Mitsuba laugh like an idiot too. "Pfft- yeah I guess I do. You know- you're not all that smart huh Kou?" He said continuing to giggle. "What makes you say that.. Oh wait. If you're not taking pictures of everyone, is it just me?" He said blushing a little himself. Kou's smile was like the sun shining itself. It melted Sousuke's heart.

"Take a guess.." Mitsuba said handing him his camera and hiding the bottom part of his face with his sleeve. Kou went through the pictures and noticed that at least fifty percent of the camera roll was of him. "Oh I get it.. I didn't think you liked me that much." Kou blushed softly as Mitsuba shook his head. "I don't! You just have.. a lovely smile okay you weirdo?" He said internally dying.

"Hey.. if you had a crush on me, you could've just said so."

"That would be impossible."

"Aw but you're kinda my type. You have a really cute smile Sousuke."

"You're embarrassing, lame earring, and a spaz.. guess I'm attracted to idiots." Mitsuba smiled and gave up trying to deny it.
