Mahesh Luthra was furious, he had worked tirelessly to build and Safe guard the Luthra Empire, when his Father Pranav Luthra handed him the reigns of his business it was a one story factory being the eldest it was his responsibility to take of his younger brother and sister. 

He was newly married and his wife Rakhi had come from a wealthy family she married into a middle class family for love much to the dismay of her parents, however the love of their child prevailed and they allowed the marriage, she took no time to adjust into my family even though she had left behind her life of luxury.

Within a year of taking over Luthra Industries he opened multiple branches of the fabric and cloth business, and a few months later he went into construction unfortunately at this time his father passed away so His responsibility increased, a few years later his brother  Madhav Luthra also passed leaving an orphan Sameer behind. 

Mahesh Luthra broke down into tears, his sister had just given away their legacy, 3 generations of hardwork.

To say the hall was shocked would be an understatement cos Rakhi Luthra was always quiet never raising her voice just enduring in a way alot like Preeta maybe this is why she took to her, because she saw a bit of herself in Preeta, she was raised strong and taught to stand up for herself  but her kindness over powered all else.
