Williamina Fleming
She was born in Scotland and got married and moved to Boston Massachusetts. We don't know what happened to her husband, but she was pregnant and had to find jobs, so she took domestic servant jobs. She was taking in by a man in the Harvard observatory. She dared to dream about being in science. She had an interest in astronomy. 20 years later she was the first woman who hold a Harvard University title. She became the supervisor of 15 other women. In 1893, she advocated for more women to work in the field. She also protested the unequal pay women were receiving. She died in 1911 of Pneumonia, at the age of 54. She was inspiring, opening doors for women of today.
