It's hard, to live up to other's expectations of who you think they need you to be. The real question we should ask ourselves is "Who do I want to be" only then are we our true selves, we are all actors, playing the roles assigned to us by society, I refuse to be the stereotypical girl that society wants me to be, I want to play video games, I don't want to be obsessed with pink, I don't want to constantly wear bows and skirts. If you want to do that it's ok, but that is YOUR choice, it is not being forced upon you. I refuse to surrender to society's expectations of me, but I will rise to me own expectations, to just be me.
