Chapter 5

I woke up and smiled when I saw the clothes on the dresser. I put on the black skirt, black tights, misfits t-shirt. I put on my black converse and went out. Gerard and I ate cereal before heading off to the mall. We walked into a little store with cute little outfits. I walked around and looked through the racks.

"You can get whatever you want, Frankie needs new clothes," Gerard said.

"But I already have clothes," I stated.

"Frank May have clothes but Frankie doesn't," he said. "Maybe you can get some nice skirts or some cute little dresses."

I smiled softly and nodded. We walked around, looking through racks. I was far more nervous, following Gerard around like a scared little puppy while he picked out clothes for me. He would ask me if I liked them and I would just nod or shake my head in reply.

"Let's try them on," he said.

I was afraid of everyone staring at me as we both went back to the dressing rooms. I tried on clothes to be sure that they fit before we bought them. Next he brought me to a lingerie store and my face turned bright red as I looked around.

"Hey, Gerard," a worker said.

He nodded at them and took me to another part of the store.

"What kind of panties do you think you want?" He asked.

"There are different kinds?" I asked.

Gerard chuckled and just picked out some panties.

"Now let's get you fitted for a bra," he said.

"I don't have boobs, Gerard," I stated.

Gerard just chuckled and lead me back to the worker he knew. I was taken to a room with her and looked around as she helped me put the bra on.

"You do drag with Gerard?" She asked.

"No," I said.

"You trans?" She asked curiously. "I remember Gerard's friend, Lindsey I think, she came here with Gerard too when she first started to transition."

She turned me to the mirror and I looked at the simple black bra. The cups were small and not filled at all but it looked amazing either way.

"This band looks about right," she said.

She took it off and went out. I put my shirt back on and went out where the two of them were talking. I followed Gerard where we picked out some bras for me. We paid for everything before heading to Walmart.

"Where the fuck did they put them?" He muttered. "Ah, here they are."

He picked up a pack of bra inserts.

"These will go inside your bras," he said. "It'll help fill them up."

I followed Gerard around and he paid for them.

"Alright, let's go look at the shoes," he said. "There's a Shoe Carnival right next door."

We walked inside and I looked around.

"These are the only pairs of shoes I have," I said honestly, looking at my old converse.

"Let's browse then," he said.

I looked around but didn't see many shoes I wanted. The only ones that intrigued me were a pair of black heels.

"These ones," I said. "I need these."

"Try some on," he said.

We found my size and I put them on nervously. I stood up and wobbled before I fell. Gerard helped me and I blushed as he put his hands on my hips, his body close to mine.

"I've got you," he said quietly.

I took a few nervous steps as I held his shoulders.

"You'll get used to them, they aren't so bad after a while," he said.

I nodded and took them off, putting on my own shoes. I watched him put the new shoes into the box and it was almost like a casket shutting as he put the lid on. I just wanted to hold them in my arms because they were so beautiful.

"You think we've shopped until we've dropped yet?" He asked.

"Yeah, I kinda wanna go home and just try some things on," I said.

Gerard paid for the shoes before we left, grabbing a quick bite first.

"I can pay you back," I said.

"Don't worry about it," he said. "I'm not too bad off when it comes to money."

I nodded my head and we went back to his apartment. I put on a pair of black lace panties and picked up the matching black lace bra. I whimpered as I struggled to put on the bra.

"Gerard?" I called.

He walked in and smiled as I blushed.

"I can't remember how to put this on," I said.

Gerard smiled and showed me how. He helped put the silicone bra inserts in and i could feel my heart beating fast. I loved wearing this bra, it made me feel so feminine.

"Here, let me adjust the straps for you a bit," he said.

Gerard messed around with the straps until it became more comfortable.

"There we go," he said.

I put on the casual white dress that had a cinched waist and dark blue flowers.

"What a beautiful girl," he muttered.

I grinned, looking up at him.

"You're such a pretty girl," Gerard said.

"I am?" I asked hopefully.

"Of course," he said. "You're beautiful, Frankie, a very beautiful girl."

I blushed, giving him a hug.

"Maybe we can sew the inserts into the bra so it doesn't feel so...wobbly? I don't think that's the right word," I said. "I can just feel the inserts moving around."

I pushed them back into place and frowned.

"Yeah, I can do that for you," he said.

I smiled, looking in the mirror. I couldn't help but just reach up and cup my fake breast. It was small but I loved the slight bump underneath my dress.

"I love this," I said. "I have boobs."

"Cutie," he said.

I smiled, giggling happily. I couldn't remember the last time I was this happy. For the first time ever I was almost content in my own body.

"Frankie, you look so adorable," he said. "You're such a pretty girl."

I smiled, running a hand through my hair.

"Can I cook dinner tonight?" I asked. "Just as a thank you for doing this for me."

"Of course, just write a list of groceries that you'll need and I'll get them for you," he said.

I nodded, getting a paper to write it out. He smiled happily and took it.

"You stay back here and grab a shower or something if you want," he said. "Or you can watch tv, the tv guide is in the top left drawer of the entertainment center. I won't be gone long. And there's a charging cable beside my bed that you can use if you'd like."

I nodded and he left. I sat on the couch watching tv for a bit before I realized I did need to charge my phone. I went to his bedroom and plugged it in, setting it onto the nightstand. I sat down and picked up the book on his nightstand. It was dogeared near the beginning. It was Hemingway, I didn't recognize the title. There were little knick knacks all over and I found myself trailing back to his closet.

I looked around at all the clothes, wanting to try them on like a kid playing dress up. I thought that it might be rude to do that and I grabbed my bag, going to his bathroom. I sat in front of his vanity where the pretty lights around the mirror illuminated my face. I grabbed my ziplock bag of makeup and sighed. I tried my best to do my makeup, trying to remember how Gerard did it. I frowned softly, deciding to skip the contour. I put on some simple eyeshadow and eyeliner. I frowned when I couldn't get the wings evenly like Gerard had. I put on the mascara but it made it difficult because I kept blinking too much. I finished it off with red lipstick and smiled.

"I'm back!" Gerard called when the door opened.

I walked out and he smiled when he saw me.

"Look at you, you look gorgeous," he said.

"I didn't do it very good," I said sadly.

"What are you talking about? You look gorgeous," he said.

"Really?" I asked nervously and he nodded. "Thank you."

He smiled and set the bags down onto the counter.

"Well, it's a little early for dinner," he said. "Any crucial, important matters you need to attend to?"

"No," I said as I giggled quietly.

Gerard smiled and shut the curtains as it grew dark, turning on the lights instead.

"Well then, how about we just talk a bit," he said.

I nodded, sitting on the couch with him.

"Where are you from?" I asked. "I feel like we're always talking about me."

"I'm from Belleville," he said. "I've got a mom and a dad and a brother and a goldfish named Rudy."

I giggled quietly, an easy smile spreading over his face. He had such a pretty smile. It was sort of crooked and he had small teeth but it was beautiful.

"You really have a goldfish named Rudy?" I asked.

"Well, I used to," he said. "Got him when I was eleven."

"I always wanted a dog but my dad never let me," I said.

"I wanted a dog too or maybe a cat but I'm allergic to cats," he said. "I know they have the shots for those but I'm afraid of needles. If I wasn't then I would get a whole bunch of tattoos, I love tattoos, I think they're beautiful."

"I started getting my tattoos on my seventeenth birthday," I said. "I love them. I really only got them in the first place to prove to my dad that I was a man. But I do really love them."

"They're beautiful, Frankie," he said. "You're beautiful."

I blushed softly as I looked down. He reached over to hold my hand and I felt my heart skip a beat. I pulled my hand away as I looked at him.

"Sorry, should've probably asked first," he said.

My mind was just racing at this point. I've only known Gerard for...four days? Clearly I can't be feeling like this.

"I-I should go get food started," I said.

I left the room, trying to think of what exactly I was doing and what exactly I was feeling.
