The next day is full of frenzy as the other packs begin to leave as well as the gathering for the mission out to locate Van. Though most of the packs were gone the only one that remains is the Silver Falls. I finish putting on the rest of my clothing for the day placing my weapons in their holsters. At that moment the doors open and I see a familiar blonde head appear in the doorway.
"Teralyne... good morning." I say looking at her from the mirror as I finish putting my hair up.
"Good morning, my lady..." She looks slightly confused, "Where are you going?"
I turn around to face her slightly smiling. "To help out, I won't be needing you to help dress me today, obviously."
She slightly frowns. "But the Prince sent me here, to help you prepare, he said you were still sleeping."
I slightly laugh. "Then I'll guess I'll have to surprise him."
"Milla... Are you awake?"
"Yeah, I am Orion, come on in." I tell him.
"Hey, Milla. I-" Orion stops suddenly at the doorway, his speech stoping and turning into a little stutter. "H-Hi, Teralyne..."
She ducks her head and I see a little blush come to her face. "Beta..." She Whispers.
My eyes dart between the two of them and I notice the way Orion looks at her... The way I see Leo look at me or, even Erik.
Ah, I see...
"My Lady since you don't need my services, I'll be taking my leave..."
"Of course, Terra..."
She ducks her head again as she leaves the room, Orion's gaze following her until she's out of sight.
"Does she know?" I ask, walking to stand beside him.
"What? What'd you ask?" He asks as if coming out of a daze.
I chuckle. "Does she know?"
He ducks his head this time round embarrassed. "No... I don't know what to do, she's human and I don't know what to say."
"Well Terra, knows where she is and who her family have served for generations it's just a matter of figuring out how to tell her."
"Right."
"But remember she's more fragile than us, you need to remind your wolf to be far more careful when around her."
He growls and I know the very thought of what I've just said has caused this.
"Down boy..." I say, jokingly.
"I don't know what I would do if something happened to her."
"Well first you've got to tell her how you feel."
He nods in agreement, but then his smile turns into a frown. "Not to be a little forward, Milla. But maybe you should listen to your own advice."
I place a smile on my face. "What do you mean?"
He shakes his head, "Never mind... But there was something else I was here to ask you about. Though I do wonder where are you going?"
I look at him quizzically and begin walking towards the exit. "You don't think that I was just going to sit here while we look for that scumbag did you?" I crack my knuckles, "Besides I've a score to settle."
He catches up to me. "But his highness is really not going to like that idea."
"Well then he'll just have to learn how to deal with it."
He sighs exasperatedly but continues to walk with me to the large meeting room, when I open the doors the whole room turns to look at me and it falls silent.
"Please, don't stop because of me." I say shutting the door.
Leo looks at me questioningly immediately stopping what he is doing and coming over to me. "Amelia, what are you doing here?"
"I'm here to help obviously, I can't sit around and do nothing while you try and apprehend the man who harmed Winston." I tell him, my arms crossed. "Besides since he is looking for me, I can be of use when trying to lure him in."
His looks at me emotionally. "Absolutely not."
"And why not, although I am to be Luna, I am still a warrior; worth no more or less than any of these other individuals in the room."
"No, I cannot allow that."
"Leo-"
"No. This decision is final. You will remain here along with Winston. This is an order, do I make myself clear?" He asks.
I wanted to resist, tell him that I was going to go despite him but I couldn't. My wolf couldn't resist the order of the king, his wolf being much stronger than mine. I scan the crowd to look for support, they immediately find Erik, but when I look there instead of finding him looking even remotely interested. Blank eyes once again greet me as I look into them past Leo's shoulder.
They gave nothing.
I look back at Leo. "Crystal." I answer before turning around and trying not to storm towards the entrance. Blocking his attempts to try and contact me by mind link, before completely leaving I stop beside Orion.
"Orion..."
"Yes?"
My eyes flicker back over to Erik and then to him. "Watch him, okay?"
He looks over in the direction of Erik and looks at me a little confused but he nods once in agreement.
I leave the room.

"Am I doing this right?" asks Winston.
"Yes you're doing fine, but you've got to stay quiet. You need to be able to focus on one sense at a time so that you're not overwhelmed. Ara's told me that you've had some trouble with this."
He nods. "Yeah... it's mostly when I'm around her, I can't seem to focus on anything else... it's like I can see her and only her."
I laugh. "That's what this is about?" I place a hand on his shoulder. "It's completely normal to act that way... she's your Mate. And this bond you both have is stronger than regular human emotion."
He cocks his head to the side slightly. "Then why doesn't she react the same way? I feel like if anyone comes near her I would loose it."
I smile. "And that, is why we're here. But, my dear Winston, you've definitely not been paying enough attention to the small details when it comes to your mate. I've seen her give more withering looks to women in this castle who dare to look at you too long," I laugh, " But I see why they do it, I will not lie Winston. The grace of a wolf looks very good on you."
I see his ears turn slightly red at the compliment and he looks down at the floor. His now grey-blue eyes flickering around. "Thank you..."
"If you need more help you could always ask Leo," I tell him.
He nods. "Yeah or I could ask Erik, he seems to be good at controlling it. But I haven't approached him because he seems not of the best temperament lately. I can almost sense... something off..."
I frown, "What do you mean? What's been going on?"
Winston sighs. "He hasn't quite been himself, I see him trying to put up a farce for me and the rest of the pack. I guess he thought he could fool me since I'm still trying to get ahold of my senses. But he's seem to have forgotten that I've been here before all of this."
I shift my eyes to the rays of light coming from the outside, each dust particle I could see floating through the orange shafts of light. As I begin to zone there suddenly my head begins to hurt and every breath seems like a needle, and things begin to blur around me.
There is a touch on my shoulder and suddenly it begins to stop, I see Winston's eyes looking at me with concern. "Are you alright?"
I nod, blinking and rubbing my forehead. "Yeah... I've just been zoning out a lot lately. But thank you for bringing this to my attention. Let's get back to your orientation so we can show Ara that you've made some progress."
He smiles. "As you wish, Luna!"
I punch him in the arm lightly.
***
Later that night I sit in my room in the den, not feeling like facing Leo this evening. I've ignored his attempts to mentally contact me. I knew that this wouldn't last for long, that Leo would eventually come for me himself. But for now I used this time to be alone, for some reason I felt that I needed to be alone. I was a feeling that had been building up for a while and I couldn't shake it or explain where it came from.
I continue to look at the landscape bathed in moonlight, Spring was about to come to the valley so the night was still cool enough to warrant the need of the blanket I currently had around me as I sat on the ledge of the window. The cold of the stone beneath me slightly coming through.
But it wasn't like I needed it, I've been through colder. I just liked the feeling it brought.
What am I doing...? I'm home yet, I've never felt so lost...
I let my head lean back against the stone and my mind begins to wander, my eyes focusing on a point in the forest. And just like earlier the pain comes back, with reality beginning to blur but this time accompanied with a ever growing high pitched noise. My vision was beginning to go dark.
There is a knock on the door.
Everything stops.Snapping me out of the trance or state I was beginning to slip into, I step down from the sill pulling the blanket tighter around me.
It's probably Jewels or Bridge coming to see why I'm here...
But when I open the door I'm greeted by two familiar blue eyes. "Erik?"
